Re: Armed Antifa at Roanoke’s drag show

The FBI has identified a number of patriotic groups as violent extremists. The position of the democrat party is that the NRA is a domestic terror organization. It's illegal in the state of Texas for members of criminal street games to possess firearms. But these guys show up with their semi-auto ri...

Re: This is why you should carry in a holster

I wish that the general public understood what a lead projectile does when it impacts a surface. "The bullet then began to ricochet around the store, striking three other shoppers." I think that this statement generally sums up what 95% of people think happens when a bullet hits a surface....

Re: Recommendations for a Locking Pistol Box

I have the gvb200 and it has an ac/dc power supply. plugs into the wall... sure if I needed it during a power outage I would have to use the key to open it. I have the key stored in a fireproof safe close by that uses an electronic combo lock and takes batteries, but I've probably only changed the b...

Re: Recommendations for a Locking Pistol Box

https://gunvault.com/product-category/biometric-safes/ I have a gunvault biometric multivault. It works well. It has a shelf in the middle so there is an upper and lower compartment. It's easily large enough to keep more than one compact handgun on each shelf, or to have two handguns with holsters a...

Re: Two-Factor Authentication?

I get no cell phone reception in my most areas of my office building at work. I log into my account using my username and password and they send me a passcode via text messaging, then I go to the break room and stand by a window waiting for the code. no doubt that it is more secure than a good old-f...

there are no words, and there is no defense. How a man could do this to his own daughters... They'd be seeking the death penalty if he were MS13 or if he were identified as associated with a "Militia Violent Extremist" group.

Re: The FBI Might Think You're a Militia Violent Extremist if......

I wish that the document was a little bit higher resolution so that I could read a little bit more, but as far as I can see, it's comforting to know that there aren't any of these so called MVE's associated with anti-Americanism or associated with leftist ideologies. Not a single one apparently. So ...

Re: TX: Houston gun buy back a big success

Read that the Harris County DA is not happy as there were no questions asked and DA is concerned with folks ditching guns used in crimes and concerns with chain of custody, etc. beggars can't be choosers. "Come to the gun buyback and turn in your guns for cash. Also, if you're a wanted crimina...

Re: TX: Houston gun buy back a big success

They took in nearly 1000 mostly nonfunctional weapons. Getting guns off of the street? I don't think so; more like just getting them out of the attics, out from the back of closets, the bottom of junk drawers. Most of these guns probably hadn't even been seen, let alone cleaned or fired, in decades....

Re: School Shooting in Kansas

I still have not heard the reason for the whole thing. I sat down with best investigators in the democrat party and developed an extensive root cause analysis. We used the Why Tree method as well as other quantitative methods. The conclusion of the panel is that the root cause was... gun violence o...

sounds like another case of a bad guy with a gun being stopped by a good guy with a gun. If the report is correct then the school resource officer is a true hero. :clapping: a school resource officer and a male school administrator were shot and injured The 18-year-old male student suspect was shot ...

$100,000 to bail out the man who attempted the murder of a mayoral candidate in a major US city. Meanwhile in Canada, they are freezing the assets of the truckers participating in the Freedom Convoy and shutting down donations to their cause. Well... I guess that if it had happened in Houston he wou...

https://handgunlaw.us/ this website seems to be a good, up-to-date resource on each state's handgun laws. Just click on the state and it will pull up their specific laws and lots of very detailed pertinent information. States like Oregon for example don't honor other state's handgun licenses, howeve...

May be a good idea to start systematically trading firearms.

Sorry sir, I moved all of those guns in private transactions. I don't recall any of the names or places but each of them presented valid CHLs.
