I did some quick reading up on Le Pen, and it's amazing how far to the left she has had to take the National Front party just to be considered mainstream enough in order to be a realistic alternative to the status quo in France. After reading, I can't even believe that the US media and even Fox News still refers to her an the "Far Right" candidate. She is running on a platform of government ownership over health care, education, energy, she supports abortion and opposes the death penalty. She opposes the EU and open borders and wants to get tough on radical Islamic terrorism, other than that is she really anything more than just another liberal, socialist politician?

It seems obvious to us that France needs a law and order candidate who is tough on radical Islamic terrorism. It will be interesting to see what happens over there in a couple of weeks. I understand how some Americans just want to be able to travel to France and feel safe. But other than that, even if she wins and becomes good friends with Trump, I don't see how it really impacts the USA at all other than helping with the war on Terror.
