I use whitepages.com. Like so many these days the dependency on the Internet negates the belief in maintaining actual physical documents. Our local libraries had phone books going back to the 1940's and Criss Cross Directories that went back decades. The new powers that be destroyed them all in the name of progress. But, hey, you can check out a video game! My brother tried to convince the city to keep the SW repeater for Civil Defense purposes and was told it was not needed since we have cell phones! Hell just try to make a phone call during Christmas season at Best Buy or Baybrook mall in Webster... You get the same all circuits are busy line on and off all day.

Google will tell you the area it is associated with, and if its a listed number it will give you details. But alot of unlisted/blocked numbers won't give you much more then city/state/area the number is suppose to be based out of
