Before being hauled to the jail house, my thought is that a supervisor would intervene. Hopefully the supervisor is more in tune with the laws.
I may be completely wrong here, but isn’t a Sergeant a supervisor?

Re: Video: Inside WV's federal firearm tracing center.

I knew from the moment I filled out a 4473 for the first time, that it could later be easily used as a registration tool, or a means of tracking me. I mean come on, you’re filling out federal documents with all of your information, a serial number and description of the firearm. It's possible, yes....

Re: Lots of people buying guns/ammo at the border.

Saw a bunch of people buying and checking out guns here on the border. Most were going for hi-points and pocket pistols. And as far as ammo, most wanted FMJ's due to price I'm told. $7.99 was the cheapest 9mm ammo left and some felt that was too high. I worked in gun sales for years, and it always ...

Re: San Marcos city council moves to ban carry at meetings

This is where a cease and desist letter from your lawyer, implying a suit for a very large percentage of their annual operating budget, may be a good idea. After sending it, carry a copy of it along with a copy of their response the next time you go to the courthouse. That sounds like there is just...

Re: El Paso Walmart Shooting

First, you have to get to the authorities without getting shot by them. Remember, this may be their first time, too. Sure, but hopefully you have the diligence to stand down at the first glimpse of law enforcement. If not, hopefully you or someone near you is able to relay your description to dispa...

Dan Crenshaw has already promoted this... pretty disappointing, I had considered him to be such a fine example until today.

Re: El Paso Walmart Shooting

1. The first responders wouldn't know me from a bad guy.  This is really scary and honestly it would probably determine my actions barring protecting my family or myself from the shooter. :iagree: :iagree: :iagree: :iagree: :iagree: This is the number one reason for caution and thinking as an LTC h...

Re: Audio: Gun sellers recount people they denied a gun purchase.

You just won't believe some of the sketchy people who open their big mouths, fill out the 4473, then get immediately denied. SIA I can attest to this, as well as the crazy things I’ve been told before asking to rent a gun. Would you believe that people would have the audacity to walk into a gun ran...

Re: San Marcos city council moves to ban carry at meetings

I guess they didn’t learn their lesson with the Hays County government building. They are not making the city buildings 06/07, just posting all open city meeting while in progress. That is allowed. The resolution will be considered at tomorrow's meeting. Just trying to give a heads up. I understand...

Re: El Paso Walmart Shooting

I also posted this in the "Dayton" thread, but this is a freaky coincidence. On the left, the Gilroy shooter. On the right p, the El Paso shooter.: 18C74750-FA2A-4806-A8FB-02AF85F51277.png I’m not trying to suggest a connection, but this is weird. Looks like a couple of mom’s basement, neck sweaty,...
