Because the LTC holder is under no obligation to show it outside of when ID is demanded by a law enforcement officer.
And under current law, a school district is under no obligation to allow a good guy to carry in schools.

I agree with Liberty that the bill seems unnecessary. If somebody wants to carry in a school, the school adminsitration can request to see their license. If the requestor refuses to display their license, the school can refuse to authorize carry. No new laws are required for the status quo.

Adding additional entities, to the list of those allowed access, to LTC holders. Is just one more chance for that the info to be mishandled. Giving school districts, the ability to allow LTC holders to carry, is all that is necessary. If they still want to verify it, they can utilize the same system they use at the Capitol, which just scans the LTC and instantly verifies that it is current. JMHO
So is there a huge run of fake LTC's? Your LTC has an expiration date on the card, that is sufficient!
