Re: Nervous LTC test

There was an 83 year old lady in my class. She was new to shooting. She shot a 238 and obviously qualified. She used a 38 spl snubbie revolver.

Re: Carrying on someones private property

I just post no trespassing signs. If I invite someone on my property, they are welcome to carry. Even if you do not know the individual from something other than an email exchange? I agree that it was wreckless, just trying to see if there is another solution besides signage and/or an oral warning....

Re: Carrying on someones private property

I cannot seem to locate an answer to this question in the statutes, unless by private property you mean a business. I was wondering if it would be legal to carry at someones residence without their permission. Had an instance the other day where someone that was invited over to a friends house (on ...

Re: Testing improper signage...

Why worry about giving someone money that clearly doesn't trust you, as a customer, to defend yourself? Add the stop-and-rob zone to texas3006.com and move on to someone that welcomes YOU, not criminals. I had three Bank and a Credit Union I had to work in. I walked right pass their gun buster sign...

Re: DWI Charge

Sorry for the issue. I have always thought it was bull that an arrest stays on your record even if you are innocent. Anybody who honestly thinks you are innocent until proven guilty is gullible. :iagree: Many people still think if you hadn't done anything wrong you wouldn't have been arrested. :sma...

Re: NRA Leader LaPierre Says Being Extorted,

I think all executives making over $100,000.00 / year need to have term limits ( as I believe congress should have.) We need an audit by a reputable independent accounting firm and let the chips fall where they may. If anyone is opposed to such an audit then something fishy is most likely afoot. Th...

Re: Rashida Tlaib allegiance

I am tired of defending my faith against generalization and misinformation. There are more than 2 billion Muslims worldwide. They live in peace and they are not waging wars. The terrorists and Islamists do not represent Muslims, otherwise, we are all doomed. Terrorists killed more Muslims than anyo...

Re: Introduce yourself

Hello all. I will hopefully be getting my plastic soon. Been around guns most my life, but this will be my first license and in the time since I decided to get my LTC this forum has helped me as I've worked on getting the correct setup for carrying. In the past 60 days or so I've gotten 2 guns, 4 h...

Forbus 1911 Holster

Bought a 1911 Forbus paddle holster from Academy. ( clearance item) This holster is not going into the holster drawer, it is going in the trash. Mexican carry is better.

She is free of pain and in a better place. You and your family need to stay strong and be supportive of each other. That would bring a smile to her face.

Re: Anaheim PD LEO's fire 76 rounds on move, through windshield.

Those guys are calm in the midst of a very tense situation. I don’t fault them for thinking that the airsoft was a real firearm. If the officer followed his training and did not violate departmental policy or did not disregard direct orders from a superior then I fail to see why he is fired. This P...

Re: 5 Officers Shot In Houston - Pray

Channel 2 has a big investigative report tonight. Sweeps week? Nothing burger? We will know tonight! I just watched the news - not much new was reported. Several of the HPD Commanders will be shuffled around in their jobs. They are also saying that the DA won't take the case to the grand jury until...
