He may have been yelling and cussing but he certainly was not in her face. She actually is existing the vehicle toward the man before her boyfriend arrives.

Re: FL:Stand your ground law under fire for parking space dispute murder

You may be correct concerning the expiration date of a card. However, I do 99% of my work in El Paso and I have never seen a Red card. Also, three of the people I know who have had temporary disabilities ( two broken ankles and one broken clavicle which required surgery) cards all received blue cards and are TX residents.

Re: FL:Stand your ground law under fire for parking space dispute murder

Problem is that I have never seen a red card and I know several people who had temporary disabilities who have received the blue card. I am in in NM and the card I was issued expired at my DL renewal date which was greater than four years.

Re: FL:Stand your ground law under fire for parking space dispute murder

I think one problem is that Doctors hand HC plaqardes our like candy and they are good until your drivers license comes up for renewal. I know my own Sister received a HC window sign when she broke her ankle, yet it was good for years even after she had healed.

My question is; how many of y'all recognize this example license plate as authorization to park in privileged parking?

I recognize it.

Re: FL:Stand your ground law under fire for parking space dispute murder

How would every one see this incident had it been a simple assault. Would the shooter been justified in protecting himself? The shooter was blind sided by a person he had not even seen before. He wasn’t going to shoot or even brandish his gun to the woman he was arguing with.

Re: FL:Stand your ground law under fire for parking space dispute murder

I was confined to wheel chair until my brain rewired and I learned to walk again. I know how much my Wife and Mom needed to Utilize the HC spaces when they took me somewhere. I have politely asked if a person knew they were in a HC space. I’ve also informed an able bodied driver that it was illegal to leave grandma in the car while they utilized a HC space to run into the store. I’ve even had an idiot flash his gun at me and tell me he was a man and did whatever he liked. I’ve always been polite though.

I’d say 2nd or 3rd degree murder, certainly not first degree.
We don’t know what was said ( at least I don’t). A threat may have been made. However, I do think it looks bad just watching the video.
