Re: Unmask Antifa Act

let's see. if we make it illegal to wear a mask while you commit other crimes, then in the event of a masked riot, you STILL have to prove the arson, theft, vandalism, assault, etc. in order to levy the add-on charge of wearing a mask. And with them masked, how do you prove who committed a crime? So...

Re: Unmask Antifa Act

This seems to me exactly like stupid liberal laws such as banning AR's that have a forward (vertical) pistol grip, or (insert accessory of your choice here). I'm not a fan of outlawing objects that are merely an adjunct to OTHER bad BEHAVIOUR. We just got rid of some stupid knife laws in Texas, but ...

Re: The Art of the Russian Mall Ninja

OMG! I've had some DUMB ideas for scenario/competition stages (ask me about my USPSA "Running for El Presidente" stage sometime.....) but I can see that I'm a rank amateur at "Multiple 180 breaks and other unsafe acts theatre". Also, they should have used the Benny Hill music...... I've observed on ...

Re: Converse TX: Homeowner drives up on 2 bad guys

Note to self: When coming upon 2 strangers hiding in my back yard at 4 am and I am unarmed, retreat to your rifle or shotgun before calling 911. And in no case try and video it on my iPhone. Did they really think they were both hidden by the skinny tree. I noticed the BG had his eyes covered so the...

Sorry, I’m confused. UT is a public university. Is it gun free? Or is LCC allowed?

Re: CA: No place but California

My parents sometimes after talking to someone would mutter something about '20 lbs in a 10 lb bag', :grumble but that looked like a 20 lb bag to me. At least they bagged it....... :thumbs2:

Re: UT: Man kills burglar who entered thru garage

This and two other posts about garage entry burglaries is making me feel like a third class citizen. Why? Because I'm the 'garage door opener' in my house..... :biggrinjester: Maybe there's a business opportunity here for somebody. Create a way to open garage doors with an appropriately secured cell...

Aggravated burglary charges filed against the couple.
under Texas statute, wouldn't 'aggravated' imply that they were armed? But no mention of it in the article......
Or does the legal definition of 'aggravated' change from state to state?

Re: One Couger .357 build coming eventually

Snagged a brand-new 4" Colt Python barrel (new old stock from the Colt factory sold at auction); this will eventually go towards building a Couger (Colt barrel on a Ruger frame) which is something I've wanted for a few decades now.. Keeping it .357 Magnum, or going .357 Bain & Davis as per the writ...
