Re: Abolish DST in Texas

Maybe I am just accustomed to it after spending most of my life with it but it really does not seem like that big of a deal to me. It does mess with my dog some. He wakes up at 4 and thinks it is time to eat. So he wakes me up pretending he wants to go outside and potty. He knows it is food time af...

Re: 30.06/30.07 Signs: More? Fewer?

Very few of the entries added recently in the Corpus area are actually new signage. Auditing via photos in Google, Facebook, Instagram, etc place their origin in the 2017-2019 range. They were just missed on previous passes thru the metro area.

That was my thought exactly.
Wonder who planted that suspicion. Once upon a time, I would have presumed we did.

Re: Shooting teams for a teen

Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation sssfonline.org The pin map near the bottom of the page shows a number of groups in your area. If one of them is a Steel Challenge group, that would be my personal recommendation as a starter (can be shot with .22 rimfire in relatively inexpensive rifles or pisto...

I always wondered if Connery appreciated the irony of his role in 'Highlander'. A scots actor playing a spaniard who was a mentor to a scottish character in a story taking place IN Scotland.

I can't quote you a statute, but my recollection from earlier trainings is that it hinges on who controls the property. If you REALLY want to confuse yourself, consider the following; - provided it is not a statutory proscribed location, municipal county and state property can't be posted - private ...

Re: Early Voting

Voted early on Thursday. The building I work in contains a polling location. An hour after lunch I strolled down the hall. 3 people engaged in voting when I walked in, the two ladys who entered about 15 feet in front of me were shown to machines in short order. About 3 minutes after dropping my vote...
