Re: What's the Origin of Your User Name?

I was stationed in Saudi Arabia for a few years and a bunch of the guys would ride motorcycles in the sand dunes on the weekend. They invited me to come along, but I had didn't own a bike and, what's more, had never ridden one before. So, I bought a Yamaha Enduro, went to the desert and--let's just...

I really have wanted to go to the Knob Creek (KY) machine gun shoot for years. It looks like a lot of fun and they apparently have lots of full auto for rent, or you can bring your own. And they have a night shoot with tracers.
My nephew attends this event.

Why did it take 5 yrs to close the case?
The wheels of justice turn slowly. This case won't be closed until the sentence is carried out.

Re: Officer Invades Apartment, Shoots Resident

I have been reading some news reports about the shooting of Botham Jean and many of them reveal that he was eating vanilla ice cream in his apartment when he was shot and killed. Am I reading too much into this or would it have mattered if he was eating chocolate ice cream? :headscratch https://www....

That is truly beyond belief! I would have just fired up my chainsaw and made firewood out of it. The micromanagement of people's lives and property boggles the mind. I could NEVER live in such a place. At least not peacefully.
It is probably against the law to burn firewood.

Re: Dicks destroys $5 million worth of weapons

Stack, 64, has a long history with guns. He grew up around guns and has owned them for much of his life, and he says he supports the Second Amendment. But that support is not absolute. I would like to see proof that Dick's is really going to destroy $5 Million worth of weapons. I just don't believe...
