Re: Protests - the next level?

https://news.yahoo.com/white-supremacists-attending-george-floyd-071303406.html They really believe white supremacists are behind the rioting. The white supremacist narrative fails on multiple levels. First, those groups love publicity, and I just don't see them getting a huge percentage of their m...

Re: Protests - the next level?

Many arrested on riot charges don't live in Dallas Instead, they came from Bridgeport, Burleson, Denton, Fort Worth, Grand Prairie, Irving, Lewisville, Terrell, The Colony and Wichita Falls – even one from Knoxville, Tenn. The riot's don't look spontaneous at all... I'm not sure how the rioters com...

https://streamable.com/u2jzoo Not sure what the police were firing at these homeowner on their porch in Democrat controlled Minneapolis. “Light them up” Rioters hard to shoot, homeowners on their porch easy targets. Touch the dark part not the cheaters ad sorry both that. Anyone know where or when ...

Re: MantisX Basic Marksmanship patch

I'm thinking about getting this. For those who have it, do you think the live fire capability is worth the extra money? The X2 is $99.99 and the X3 is $169.99. It appears that the only difference is being able to use the X3 for live fire. You'd have to gauge it for yourself. I primarily use MantisX...

Re: After Action Analysis (George Floyd): May 27, 2020

I agree with those saying that we need to give these officers due process and should not rush to judgment. They should get the exact same level of due diligence that any other citizen would receive in the same situation. If a security guard subdues a suspected shoplifter and then proceeds to push th...

This is getting bad. I'm looking at a burning police station on CNN right now. National guard en route. I pray for those in Minneapolis right now.

Re: Houston's Angry Karen

The couple were smart to pull into a gas station. They tend to have cameras covering the pumps, plus usually leave you with a way out. They were from out of town so likely did not know the location of the nearest police station, but they did a very good job by calling 911 and getting to a place with...

Re: MantisX Basic Marksmanship patch

I just took a look at their site. This definitely seems valuable. Unfortunately, most of my handguns don't have rails, but I have a few that do. It seems like the same principle as the old "dime washer" drill in basic training that taught us to keep a rifle steady while pulling the trigger.

Re: Man who died from knee to neck was from Texas

Would use of force be justified here in Texas against a cop doing that to a perp? Meaning - you witness this exact same scenario here in Texas...you tackle the cop to get him off the perp, etc....sure, you're going to probably get the snot kicked out of you, arrested, shot, tased...but...yeah, I'm ...

Re: TX: LTC holder faces aggravated assault w/DW after shooting man

I'm confused on the order of events. What I read was: As the armed man was waiting, the victim exited the bus and confronted the man. The verbal altercation turned physical. Jackson told police the man attacked him, causing Jackson to fall to the ground and his gun to fall from the holster. If the ...

Re: Man who died from knee to neck was from Texas

That dude was murdered . And the four cops were fired! The police officers here should get a fair trial and if found guilty, they should get the same sentence that anyone else would get. I don't want to jump to conclusions, but the video definitely looks very bad for the law enforcement officers he...

Re: Is this legal open carry?

This is also why they said a handgun in a holster laying on a car seat is not legal. It's not in a belt holster cause the holster is not attached to a belt. What if the holster on the car seat was attached to a belt, would it be legal then? LOL... Good one.... It is an exception to the application ...

Re: Bump stop ban signed today

I've seen many videos of soldiers in Iraq running full auto. Nobody can say full or semi is better; each has its own applications. If I stepped around a corner in Fallujah and there were 3 or 4 ISIS fighters standing right in front of me raising their weapons, I'd darn sure want to be on full auto....

Std Mfg S333 Revolver

I just came across this while perusing Buds site. Apparently it's a revolver that fires 2 rounds, from side by side barrels, with each pull of the trigger. Not a derringer, because it holds a total of 8 rounds. I have owned a DP-12 from this same company and while that one has side by side barrels, ...
