Re: How to move Gun safe

One other tip, especially if the safe is hard to get on a dolly due to it's shape. I've had good results from cutting a PVC pipe into small sections and using those as "rollers" under the safe. Make alot of them so it's easier to pick them up behind the safe and put them back in front as you go. You...

Re: Restriction of rights and left/liberalism versus right/conservatism.

Some things are challenging, like impaired driving. But maybe we could start with a simple premise. Laws should not be passed to keep up from harming only ourselves, or those other adults who are consenting to participate in the action. That would take away laws against drug use / sale (to adults), ...

So are they going after Adam Shift for leading the biggest conspiracy theory in modern history?

Re: Restriction of rights and left/liberalism versus right/conservatism.

I am really trying to figure out a conservative position that does restrict a right without a good reason. I can think of a few. Gay marriage being one example where I think you would have to really stretch to find a significant harm to society as a whole from 2 people of the same sex getting marri...

Re: Gallop poll (pole) says gun control losing favor

I have a lot of liberal relatives. Whenever they bring up gun control, I ask them if they really trust that the government will never try to overstep it's authority. They tend to quickly change their stance on guns after thinking about that. It's kind of hard to argue that President Trump is a tyran...

Re: Cleanshot

Shotgun bores are too easy to clean. I put a little CLP on a boresnake, pull it through the barrel 2 or 3 times, then my shotgun bores have a nearly mirror finish. Compared to that, Cleanshot would be a lot more trouble and expense. Maybe more expense, but I doubt more trouble. It's undoubtedly eas...

Cleanshot

Does anyone have thoughts on this? At $2.50 a shell it seems like a reasonable option, assuming it works as advertised.

Re: Holsters

I get that you’re no fan of Appendix carry, and I used to not like it either. And then I discovered CYA Holsters. Now I carry AIWB about 95% of the time. Pistols carried that way: G43, G26, G19. The G43 holster was made by my son, but it is identical to the CYA holsters for the other two guns. CYA ...

Re: Corona Virus (COVID-19)( SARS-CoV-2) from China: Its going to be bad.

"Not-news." Concomitant heart conditions, diabetes, etc., and co-infection with influenza, pneumonia, etc., are correctly listed as "Covid" mortalities if the underlying condition(s) is stable, and/or the co-infection would have been unlikely to cause death at baseline. Both sides are being played ...

Re: Evidence Suggests Hunter Biden Committed Federal Felony when He Purchased Gun

A tangent: if his sister-in-law took the gun out of his car and put it in a dumpster, isn't she guilty of a) stealing the gun, and b) leaving it unsecured against a child find it, which I think is against the law in Delaware? Not going to hold my breath that any of them will face any charges. I dou...

My wife is taking a few college course to finish up her degree. What was said in on class, Government, was that there are more registered democrats in Texas then republicans. Houston, DFW and Austin account for the majority. What we have to count on is the large amount of people registered as indep...

Re: Combined 30.06 & 30.07 signs.

I would not pin my freedom and criminal non-record on the belief that a 30.06/07 sign that doesn't exactly match the statutory text would spare me from prosecution, nor even conviction. I think appellate courts would be more likely to embrace the law exactly as written, but that's expensive and tak...

Re: Shooting victim's wife sues mall over lack of signage

Based on what I’ve read so far — appalling action on her part. What’s more concerning is that she “reached a settlement” with Brockett. !!? I'm guessing the settlement was for a very minor amount, if any, based on the last statement in the article. “There's no way for the person walking into the ma...

Sounds like he should sell them all this weekend to help pay his upcoming legal bills.
:iagree:

Sell or give them away to a (non-felon) family member / friend.
