Re: Store Owner Charged with Attempted Murder

This reminds me of something that happened to my older brother. He was in the Army at the time, but being a soldier far from the front line, he had a set schedule, and was stationed in Virginia Beach. He was moonlighting as a cashier at a convenience store and was working a night shift with a female...

Re: Progressives trying to recruit "Gilbert".

I responded "no hable Ingles". Trying to tie up all the resources that I can on their end. They responded with something in Spanish. I think I'll reply "Je ne parle pas Espanol" and see if I can get them busy trying to find a French speaker. It is amusing that we have a senate race between a white g...

Re: Mad Maxine at it again

“I have no fear. I’m in this fight,” Waters told the crowd, according to the Huff Post. “I know that there are those who are talking about censuring me, talking about kicking me out of Congress, talking about shooting me, talking about hanging me.” “All I have to say is this: If you shoot me, you’d...

Re: Police Recovery of an Assault Revolver with High Capacity Magazine

I'm just not sure why the BG's felt the need to have a standard revolver in addition to their wonder weapon. Maybe it was a BUG?
An assault revolver with high-capacity magazines and a revolver were recovered at the scene.

Re: Police Recovery of an Assault Revolver with High Capacity Magazine

I'm picturing something akin to a Gatling gun design maybe? Or a belt fed revolver with a box "magazine" hanging off the side?

Re: Don't need to show LTC to LEO when carrying.

This is the statute as it is currently displayed by texas.gov site. Sec. 411.205. REQUIREMENT TO DISPLAY LICENSE. If a license holder is carrying a handgun on or about the license holder's person when a magistrate or a peace officer demands that the license holder display identification, the licens...

Re: San Francisco Chronicle editor pretends familiarity with firearms

Normally, I'd go on a narrative about leftist buffoons right about now, but I have to call it as I see it. Here's what the article says: 1: This was back in the 90s. No background checks required before 1993. 2: The author of the chronicle article clearly purchased the gun in Texas, not California....

Re: San Antonio considering using zoning to reduce the number of gun shops

So they want to reduce the ability of people to buy guns through an FFL, thereby increasing the demand for guns sold in private transactions. I thought they wanted to reduce the number of guns that were sold without background checks, not increase that number. It's actually fairly amusing to see the...

Re: Do Not make a company aware of their non-compliant signs!

I agree 100% with not notifying a company that you visit that their signs are non-compliant. What do you do when it is your employer? Before open carry passed, my office (downtown Houston) had no signs. I would carry concealed due to the motley crowd that was on the streets (had to walk four blocks...

Re: Man attacks teens in San antonio over MAGA hat

I understand that under Texas law, he probably won't be charged with a serious crime, although an aggressive prosecutor, could put this guy on the hot seat for a while. What about Federal law? Weren't civil rights of the young man violated? Couldn't this be construed as a hate crime? The left is ve...

Re: Saw another carrying, and felt very uncomfortable...

If you could see the butt of the gun, and it wasn't being carried in a belt or shoulder holster, then he was not legally carrying. Well, it was not an open carry. I am 99% sure it would have to be intentional for it to break the law. This was more of an accidental exposure, which we all know is not...

Re: Selling to a non LTC holder

I just stated what the law in Texas requires. We can require anything we want. If we want them to stand on their head then we can require it. Just don’t be surprised when no ones wants to stand on their head. :evil2: I occasionally see guns for sale that look interesting. Then I will read the part ...

Re: Do Not make a company aware of their non-compliant signs!

When faced with a decision about an action, ask yourself what positive and negative results can come from that action. If you can think of no positives that can result, don't take that action. You don't even need to start thinking about potential negatives. So I calmly ask, what benefit(s) to the LT...

Gun range in NJ? Isn't that like a Maxine Waters dining with Trump at the White House?
Wouldn't Maxine feel compelled to yell and scream at herself and Trump while they were eating though? Not sure how that would work.
