I don't think it is fair to say that this group promotes "concealed carry". I think we promote legal carry in general, but don't specifically promote either concealed or open carry. The opposite argument could also be made about the effect of folks seeing people with guns. As people see more and more folks carrying guns without causing mayhem, the fear of guns will naturally start to subside. After all, we tend to fear that which is unfamiliar to us. But I do agree that if people start to relax their ethical standards and start to do immoral or unethical things while they are carrying, that would be very bad for the public's perception of LTC holders and our rights in general.
