Re: Portable Generators
My welding machine, a Miller Bobcat 250, puts out 11,000 watts on the generator side. I have run my whole house (2500 sq ft) on it many times due to power outages from storms. During this freeze, I learned a valuable lessen. It will run the AC/Heat, refrigerators, and well pump just fine. But, it wi...

Re: Who didn’t lose power?
We had power every 6 to 8 hours for 30 minutes at a time. The only thing that kept us alive was my stack of firewood. It was brutally cold (-5 Tuesday morning) and I never let the fire go out.

Re: DC: Penetrating the Capital
I smell a rat. The opportunity to use this even for gun control is too convenient. When I rub my crystal ball, I see that people were egged on, security requests were denied, and capitol police stood aside. All to provide the political fodder that will soon be used.

Interesting. I've got most all of the ammo you listed as owned or desired, but I want to keep them all. Good luck.

It never made any sense for the NRA to be in NY.

I was afraid the liberal movement to quash the first amendment had taken another victim.

Re: NRA-ILA Challenging "May Issue"
I don't think that "Proper Cause" is defined in New York law. And there lies the problem. You have to ask a judge for the license to carry, and each judge an interpret proper cause any way they want to. It is the epitome of judicial discrimination and injustice.

Re: TX: Houston man murders his sister while showing her his new gun
Even if the gun had been unloaded, and on safe, only an idiot points a gun at anyone they don't intend to shoot. Rule #1: don't point the gun at anyone, loaded or not.

Yeah, the government always exempts itself from its own rules.

Who was "monitoring" him. Did that person get fired? Inquiring minds want to know.

Re: 11th Circuit re-affirms "no duty to protect" re: Parkland shootings.
Well, that is not a surprise. The government, and all it's publicly funded institutions, has no obligation to protect the civilians from whom it's power is granted. Follow the money trail. It will always lead to the politicians. In the inception of our country, politicians were expected to selflessl...

Re: Honest Election
So far 77% of the members who have voted in this pole believe the US will never have another honest election. Sadly, I can only assume that the United States of America is destined to become another (although large) dictatorial country where the people have no say in who governs them. Sad is not a s...

Re: Wearing a mask while LTC
At the Frisco breakfast this past Saturday, 12/12/20, I was at Rudy's BBQ in Frisco. I complimented a stranger who was OC'ing an XDM9 on his right hip. The Rudy's employee asked him to put on a mask. The LTC refused, opining to me that wearing a mask while carrying is against the law. I thought he ...

Re: Honest Election
Given the wide spread evidence of voter fraud. And the media and courts refusing to acknowledge what happened, How confident are you in future elections? I dunno' how confident I am about anything in, or coming out of, Washington DC. I am glad that we will turn 79 in February. I'm sorta' concerned ...
