Re: SHOOTING Allen Outlet Mall Multiple Victims

Generally you want to stop the bleeding first. People can die from spurting arterial bleeds quicker than not breathing. Opening the airway is a good thing and if they don't breath on their own CPR might help, but it wouldn't be my first step. Yeah. Manual chest-compression CPR ain't exactly the fir...

Re: Stay Warm and Safe the Next Few Days

Beating a dead horse with reviving this post. But, this guy explains the power grid, how close we came last year to a total collapse, how dependent we are on the grid, and how the general public doesn’t give that dependency a second thought.

Re: Does Anyone Know Of A Security Company DFW

City Center Security in Fort Worth had a history of excellent working relationship with PD. Many CC employees went on to careers with FW and many other agencies. Haven’t been associated with them in a few years now. Can’t believe the relationship with PD has changed. Too important for both agencies.

Guns of USS Texas from “The History Guy.”

I really appreciate his passion for military history. I wonder how he found the paper trail that lead to guns being removed from the Texas being placed on Wake Island for its defense prior to us entering WWII?

Saw that tweet posted somewhere the other day. Someone commented “So when did you become concerned with stealing property?”

Re: Joe Xiden AKA Brandon

Hey! There's a Brandon, Texas...small community about 10 miles east of Hillsboro, about 29 miles west of Corsicana, about 38 miles north of Waco. Should we plan, like, a statewide CHL/LTC barbeque get-together in Brandon? :biggrinjester: That’s where my wife’s grandad grew up. There’s a small rest ...

I'm a scientist. I do my own research. You can find any source on the Internet to bolster your pre-conceived notions that fits your opinion. There is a lot of mis-information floating around. I choose NOT to get my medical information from the internet. It may make you feel good, but it won't prote...

Re: Black Rifle Coffee goes Woke

BRCC CEO Evan Hafer has donated money twice to Democrats- Obama in 2008 and Tulsi Gabbard in 2019. Admittedly he has also contributed a great deal to Republicans. The history of Hafer’s actions and comments makes me question his judgement. He may be a gun guy who supports veterans and programs for ...

17 year old Kyle Rittenhouse made lots of mistakes. I've watched the videos. I wasn't thinking of his acts of self defense. I was thinking of putting himself in harms way. 50 years ago, when I was 17, I made lots of mistakes as well. Lucky me, there were no videos. (Now that I've thought about it, ...

I will continue to be a part of this forum for various reasons. A great part of that is due to the moderators holding us, and calling us out as necessary, accountable to maintain a reasonable demeanor with one another. I generally feel this group is relatively like-minded in so many aspects that alw...
