Re: Maybe he missed his friends inside

I'm guessing the rehabilitation, portion of his sentence didn't stick with him too well. Not only that, he didn't quite grasp the concept of doing a better job of not getting caught. Or maybe 24 hours of life on the outside was just too difficult. Not exactly how I would have spent my first full day...

Re: UK: Manchester Carnival mass shooting you did not know about

Yeah it's a good thing it was after the carnival, and only ten people suffered "pellet like" wounds, mostly to their legs. Obviously it was "just a flesh wound" Not anything to keep you from really having a grand time. What are "pellet like wounds"? And why would anyone go down there, since ...

Re: Fixed Blade Knives

I have several fixed blade knives. I don't consider any of them to be the "be all and end all" I don't know if that exists. I keep with me, most of the time, the following: ESEE 5 Plain edge https://eseeknives.com/knives/esee-knives/esee-5/ Big, beefy, all around great survival/bushcraft knife Buck...

They believe that the president singles them out for potential violence. He re...

RIP to the grandpa. Prayers for his family and friends

Didn't even have guts enough to face him. Might have been a different story then if he or his buddy had an LTC and weapon on them.

Did he pass away? I thought it said he was in surgery.

Re: NY governor: America was never that great

.... Name another country or people who have done more. I'm proud of my country, not blinded by homilies that white wash the truth and do little more than promote a false patriotism based on an interpretation that isn't warranted. Be proud, be patriotic, don't be blind to the past that brought us h...

Re: DPS LTC Application webiste down for maintenance

It seems it is still having quite the issues after their latest scheduled "upgrade" they had a couple days ago. More often than not I'm getting "page cannot load" or a very rudely formatted HTML page returned to use for logon. I've tried several computers at home and at work. Course using firefox b...

Re: New online CHL application & procedures

My son is applying for a LTC and has a couple of questions. We can't get into the DPS site to fill out an application. Is the site down? Second, he is going to college in Arkansas but his residency is still at home in Texas. Which address should he use for his mailing address - his home address or ...
