Re: TX: 3 Houston women murdered in less than 24 hours, possible serial killer

Wonder if surveillance video exists---if so---maybe they should release it. They obviously have a suspect, not sure what evidence they have, but it sounds like another case of a dangerous criminal being turned loose back on the streets. I would think the victims, or their family members would have ...

Just a few observations from someone who grew up riding horses here in Texas. Other than that, I love it!! ...

Re: Friend with Alzheimer's

I agree with most of the other posters. While taking away any privilege, is very difficult, Alzheimer's patients, are very unpredictable. As others have stated, those closest to him, may suddenly appear as a gang of hooligans, along with other scenarios, that could be just as tragic, if he is allowe...

Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry

https://imgur.com/a/jcaUGtY Sooo I had developed some odd asymmetrical ware on my old g27. Well; of all my pistols this one is one which I will always have and I don’t mind “customizing” it a bit. I gave it a bit of a rub on the slide. Not too deep so that it removed the carborizing, don’t want rus...

Re: Unmask Antifa Act

Folks, you need to read what Andy posted. Some act like simply wearing a ski mask during cold weather would be prohibited. Here is what he posted: " Under the act, anyone "wearing a mask" or in disguise who "injures, oppresses, threatens, or intimidates any person ... in the free exercise or enjoym...

Re: Solar Power

I've been trying to train my dogs to run on a power generating treadmill, but so far, no luck. :biggrinjester:

But I have looked into alternative power sources, somewhat, but right now, they are too cost prohibitive for me. I will be watching this topic though, just to maybe get some ideas.

Re: Israel significantly relaxes gun license regulations

While this may not be the way we would like things to ultimately be in Israel, at least they are making strides, to allow large numbers of citizens to protect themselves. They already have teachers armed, and a large security force. There is still a large contingent of the population, who are oppose...

Re: Three professors sue UT to keep guns out of their classrooms

My question to these idiots, has always been, what kept guns out of their classrooms before campus carry took effect? If they answered, the law, I would then want to know, if they believed, only law abiding citizens, would suddenly, began shooting professors over opinions? These same students, who f...

Re: Don't need to show LTC to LEO when carrying.

There is probably a lot of misunderstanding, regarding, showing your LTC, while carrying, when interacting with LEO. My understanding, ( and Charles, please weigh in if I am mistaken) when you are stopped/ detained, for any violation, i.e., a traffic stop, you are required, to show your LTC, but, if...

   :banghead: :smilelol5: :nono: I'm sorry, I'm too old to do all of that rolling, shooting, sideways, and whatever other "ninja" moves I would have to learn to defend myself, or my loved ones. I may get shot, but I will be returning fire, in the manner, I have trained, and pract...

Re: Your most “American” gun on this 4th of July

I thought sure by the 3rd page of the thread, SOMEONE would have a Ruger AMERICAN ! SIA I have a Ruger American all weather 308, it's a tack driver, and if I do my part, it's still much more accurate than I am. All of my guns are American made. Smith and Wesson, M&P 9, Marlin model 60 .22 rifle, Mo...

Re: Marlin 1895 guide gun in 45-70

I purchased a Henry 45-70 the action is the smoothist action I have ever or seen. The quality is outstanding. I also purchased a Henry Yellow Boy in 17HMR. The 45-70 & 17HMR I couldn't be found either at any dealer online or in a store. All of the dealers didn't have any and didn't know when they w...

Re: Man attacks teens in San antonio over MAGA hat

I understand that under Texas law, he probably won't be charged with a serious crime, although an aggressive prosecutor, could put this guy on the hot seat for a while. What about Federal law? Weren't civil rights of the young man violated? Couldn't this be construed as a hate crime? The left is ver...
