Re: Got pulled over by DPS Trooper

If he hadn't told him he was carrying and in the process the trooper saw the gun it could have gone south quickly. Better to put the info out there so everyone is informed.

Re: Hillary Clinton's supporters and the Second Amendment

Supporters of Hillary Clinton were asked outside a recent campaign event for the former first lady if the Second Amendment should be repealed — and many of their answers contradicted what the Democratic presidential nominee has publicly stated about the issue . I think that Hillary Clinton has publ...

Re: TRUMP

Third party candidates always seem to lack the funds to start a real campaign back when the major parties start running for the primaries. Then when they finally do get going it is too late for them to gather enough votes to do anything but screw up the major party candidates. If they ever want a re...

Re: Alien Gear Quick Draw Mount

I just got the email on this mount today, would like to see others opinions on this mount system. I personally own their IWB Cloak tuck 3.0 but mostly use my Warthog Quicktuk IWB. When driving, my sidearm just stays put. I never really take it out unless I cant carry in my destination. I find it ki...

Re: Have You Ever Eaten Coyote?

Did it taste like chicken? The crow or the other meats? :biggrinjester: The rattlesnake had sort of a neutral flavor, so I guess the closest thing would be chicken with fish bones. The possum tasted just like you'd think possum taste and the racoon tasted like greasy possum. Raccoon can be very goo...

Re: Yikes.

A co-worker had a truck in front of him carrying a pinball machine lose the glass from the top of the machine, fly off and tumble through the air and into his windshield. Scared the doodoo out of him.

Re: California lawmakers pass unprecedented package of gun control bills

The problem guys and gals is, this spreads like a cancer. The battle needs to begin here and now instead of allowing it to spread here. As mentioned earlier, the state is governed by the population centers. There are literally millions of citizens there affected by this who had no say in the matter...

Re: My doctor is now posted 06 & 07.....

Trinity Mother Francis was not posted as of last Friday; however, they have recently merged (?) with Christus (whatever that is), so we'll see what we see. If TMF posts 30.06, we'll just have to leave our guns in the truck cause there ain't nobody else. Christus owns one of the hospitals here in Be...

Re: Why does verbal warning trump compliant signage?

Sometimes I think in order to be able to stop anyone from carrying on private property/businesses the owner should be required to post compliant signage. By not having signs they are free to discriminate on who can and cannot carry. What's good for one should be good for all. By posting signage ever...

Re: Asked to be on neighborhood crime watch team...

I don't think I would like the idea of being in a marked vehicle. If your purpose is to observe, report and be a witness I would think you would do better without being marked. Those markings could also make you a target.

The reason no one challenged Geraldo was probably that they made sure nobody was around that could.

Re: I just found out...

Congrats! It has been a long time since mine were born. My first great grandchild came this year. You will have the opportunity to mold the mind of a new human being and that is a special challenge as well as a blessing. Teach your child to be the kind of person you want to be around and you'll be f...

Re: Academy and Buying Ammo and carded?

Are the ammo prices really that good at local stores like Academy, Bass Pro, etc? I've been ordering online for years and don't even check anymore when I'm in those stores. FWIW, I ordered 500 rounds of .45 from Freedom Munitions a few weeks back for $107. That's including shipping. And it wasn't s...
