Re: What Would You Do To Help

There is nothing a citizen can do to help in that situation except call 911 as you get you and your family out of the area. Attempting to intervene will likely result in being attacked by multiple people.

I avoid the Parks Mall in Arlington as much as possible, and especially at night.

Re: Off-Topic Forum has reopened

The Off-Topic forum has reopened and hopefully it will stay open. The Political forum was recently limited to gun-related topics as had always been the rule, albeit unenforced. The highly emotional topics in that forum prompted more rule violations (and even some temporary Member bans) than all oth...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

I sure don't understand those who support gun rights, but have severe cases of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
How could President Hillary Clinton make you feel better about the right to keep and bear arms?

Re: Priorities for 2019 legislative session

Do not pass any legislation that will make the gun control crowd claim a victory in Texas. Even if the legislation is part of the governor’s school safety agenda. No new infringements.

Re: Someone push me...

Do it!!!!! There's no reason not to do it and many reasons you should. I have a dual band in my car, one in my office and three HT's. (I'll be buying an Icom IC-7300 soon.) The radios in my car and office are always on unless I'm on the phone. I don't have to set aside time for the hobby, it's ther...

Re: Does The NRA Pay Million Dollars Salaries To Some In The Leadership??

Yes Wayne LaPierre apparently receives compensation in excess of 1 million dollars per year. In 2015 he received a mandatory retirement benefit over $3million. That payment was required by law. I was not aware that Mr. LaPierre has been employed by the NRA for almost 40 years. The $1 million compens...

Re: Las Vegas Mandalay Bay Active Shooter

My opinion, it was a terror attack by a group who the government cannot afford to let it be known the country of origin. Perhaps because citizens of that country hold large amounts of real estate and other investments in Las Vegas. Alternative is it was a false flag perpetrated by government agencie...

Three felonies a day. Make enough laws and everyone is a criminal “Did you really think we want those laws observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them to be broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against... We're after power and we mean it... There's no way...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

I remember a movie that was very popular during John F. Kennedy’s administration, it was called 7 Days in May. A handsome young American President who wasn’t entirely popular with the military, was conspired against by an attempted military coup. The movie made it seem the impossible was almost eas...

Re: Colorado Dem candidate pepper sprays himself video

The left has - successfully, I might add - coopted the right about armed teachers. They keep saying that “Trump wants to arm teachers”. That’s not true. What Trump wants is to make it possible for a teacher to arm him/herself if they so choose . We need to call EVERYone on it whom we see uttering t...

Good breakfast and conversation this morning. Very enjoyable. My wife just said she learned a lot from listening to us talk. She didn't clarify if what she learned was good or not..

Re: Light weight summer shirts for concealed-carry

What's that name brand? I can't make it out. Habit. In the stores, the shirts are either $16 or $22, but on the Sam's Club website, they are $29 and up. Chas. Thanks. Sam's app shows all colors/sizes out of stock on line. I was in local Sam's Club last weekend but didn't notice these. Will have to ...
