One of the DNA companies is owned/run by Google founder's wife, along with other social media types involved. Don't think for a minute they aren't sharing the results with .gov. What better way for the government to get its citizens to willingly submit to DNA sampling in order to build an even bigger big brother database?03Lightningrocks wrote: ↑Wed Oct 24, 2018 11:41 amI hear you. I was referring to them catching the Golden State Killer through DNA submitted to one of these services.Soccerdad1995 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 24, 2018 11:32 amYou have far more faith in the government than I do, my friend.03Lightningrocks wrote: ↑Wed Oct 24, 2018 11:09 am Just be careful giving your sample. If you were a serial killer 30 years ago and stopped you can get nailed.
I'm picturing a no knock warrant being issued because someone's DNA was found on a fork at a restaurant near a murder scene. Technology allows this now. So our only protection will be in hoping that our government (including the judiciary) can be trusted to never let that happen. Personally, I don't have that level of trust in any branches of our government. That's why I will never voluntarily register my DNA in any type of database.

Unfortunately, it never occurred to me that the government has access to these results when I did the test. My family always spoke of our "Native American" connection so I was curious if there was anything to it. My test showed slightly more than Poko Haunted but less than the average American...LOL.

Re: Nobody but Elizabeth Warren
CNN host John Berman asked Warren if she agreed that the tragedy exemplified the need for more effective immigration enforcement.
“Mike Pence and the president have suggested the immigration laws need to be stronger so that people like this man who is accused of this murder were not in the country,” Berman offered. “Your reaction?”
Just answer the question as asked Fauxahantas! Progressive socialists never answer difficult questions, they deflect. A real journalist would have pushed back and asked her to answer the question...but this was FNN so no surprise that neither host nor guest were honest.“One of the things we have to remember is we need an immigration system that is effective, that focuses on where real problems are,” Warren said. “Last month, I went down to the border and I saw where children had been taken away from their mothers, I met with their mothers who had been lied to, who didn’t know where their children were, who hadn’t have a chance to talk to their children, and there was no plan for how they would be reunified with their children.”
“I think we need immigration laws that focus on people who pose a real threat and I don’t think mamas and babies are the place we should be spending our resources,” Warren continued. “Separating a mama from a baby does not make this country safer.”
