Re: New LTC Numbers

Somehow, with all the media hype about firearms, I expected this number to be more like 80% and for everyone to be out there shooting everyone t...

Really? Which major university in Texas allows LTC to carry in class?
Pick a public University.
University of North Texas (all campuses) with some exceptions as per all Texas public universities allows CC.

Re: After shooting phone calls

If ever in this situation, I will do the following in this order. 1. Call 911 and state my name, location, a person has been shot and their condition. They will try to keep me on the line. 2. Hang up on 911. 3. Call my attorney and explain situation. 4. Wait for police to arrive. 5. Follow attorney...

There are so many posts on this thread that I'd give a "thumbs up" or "like" (on Facebook) or whatever, but can't on here. Oh well, you know what I mean.

Re: Campus Carry with Arizona permit?

I take advantage of campus carry to bring my personal defense weapon to my employer (a university in North Texas). Do remember that each university has its own policy in this matter. I feel that at least at mine, the policy is designed to clarify the law with respect to the specifics of the institut...

I know it's a rhetorical question but If there is nothing to report on why report on it?

Re: First few days Carrying....

First off, thank you for carrying on campus. :tiphat: If my children were still college age I would feel better knowing they had people on campus that were able to defend them. Secondly, as to the holster. You are welcome about carrying at the university. I suspect someone with more capital than me...

Re: First few days Carrying....

First off congrats on getting your plastic. Thank you all. Unfortunately there is no one "right" answer... Exactly. This is why I floated the holster try-out as an idea! If you have to wear a jacket, you may even look at shoulder holsters. Just trying to complicate things. Thank goodness ...

First few days Carrying....

My work is at a "Campus Carry" location and this semester is the first we "staffers" can legitimately concealed carry. That was one of the main drivers for me getting an LTC this year. Not that I feel under too great a threat, even if educational locations are historically at lea...
