Re: .22 pistol choices
It sucks - I didn't magically become as good-looking or athletic, either.

Re: .22 pistol choices
You can, but the engraving must be at least .003" deep and in characters at least 1/16th tall.
Fingerprints done and mailed in today - now I wait.

Re: .22 pistol choices
Yes, I'm hearing a few weeks to a month, too.
Sure thing - http://quietbore.com/#!/Solvent-Traps/c/22034117/
There's a nice review over at SnipersHide on the .22 kit - https://forum.snipershide.com/threads/q ... d.6954719/ (hint - pay close attention to page 1 and 2)

Re: .22 pistol choices
Very nice, QB
I have a suppressor-kit arriving today - here we go with the eFile again... and submitted. Now we wait.
It's an odd-looking thing, for sure - and yes, we'll get together.bulletslap wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2019 9:02 pm Andy that looks a the offspring of a 1911 and a STEN gun
Seriously however we need to tryout yours and my new Walther PPQ M2 22 together, soon.

Re: .22 pistol choices
Very easy to field-strip and no sharp edges that I can find:
And yes, I do like the 1911-ish feel of the grip.
Edit: Turns out this is the Lite model, not the Tactical which has an extra rail under the barrel - I won't miss that anyway.

Re: .22 pistol choices
I dropped by a local store to go hands-on; what I really wanted to compare was the length-of-pull, but sadly they didn't have the M&P Compact.
This one spoke to me, however - Ruger Mk IV 22/45 Lite, unfired with 3 mags:
Thank you for everyone's input - there were many great options.

.22 pistol choices
I'm considering buying one of the following (with threaded muzzle for a later Form 4 suppressor) to have a compact, inexpensive but sturdy trainer (no, I don't want a 1911 conversion-kit or one of those pot-metal 1911 .22 pistols).
Seeing as my favorite little Beretta 71 .22 is very rare in this country, these are the two I'm currently looking at - pick one:
