Re: What Would You Do To Help

I’d say the majority census would agree, call 911 and skedaddle. Now, just for stirring the pot’s sake, lets throw one of them pulling a knife. Now what would you do.

Re: Looking for a few days of side work

Sure wished you were in the Dallas Area. I have a patio roof that needs to be removed and a new one built. Almost impossible to find a contractor that isn't 2 months out and wants to charge an arm and a leg because everyone is so busy.

That's one lucky guy.
He needs to run to the closest store and pick up a lottery ticket.

Re: Have been getting into Turkish Guns

I’d actually been saving up for one, but I found the Sarslimaz 45acp. And since I already have 4 9mm pistols and wanted a 45 I spent it on that. I’ll just start my gun piggy bank again for one.

Re: Ruger SR22

I really like mine as well. Probably 600 - 700 rounds through it now. Just a fun little plinker. So far I've tried at least 6 different brands of ammo. through it and it's been fine with all of it. Like you, a few failures to fire, but that's pretty common with any 22. Probably only 1 or 2 failures ...

I would like to add a new Lexicon

Was reading a novel and the author had a great abbreviation he liked to use. DWR....

So now, if I ever get into a situation that doesn't feel right, I will now refer to it as a DWR situation..

DANGER WILL ROBINSON

Silly post, I know.. But it made me chuckle and seems to fit here.

gun-i-love-it-when-my-wife-lets-me-buy-more-gu-men-s-premium-t-shirt.jpg Thanks, that makes sense. Basically the LTC is only effective when carrying in places not otherwise allowed by law. I have no intention of letting my employer (or anyone) know I have a weapon in the vehicle. That’s the point o...

Have been getting into Turkish Guns

Last year I purchased a Canik TP9sf.(9mm) Recently I have followed up with a Tristar T-100 (Canik 55 9mm and a Sarlimaz K2 45acp. If any of you have read any of the reviews on the Caniks, you'll know that they have fantastic trigger pulls, reliable and absolute workhorses. The Tristar T100 is based ...

Re: Alien Gear; Hype or worth it?

I wear a blade tech ratchet belt that I love but if the holster was tight enough to secure the weapon , in my opinion, the whole thing would pull free. When I backed the tension off so the holster would stay put , the storm was loose in the holster. I couldn’t achieve a happy medium. It had the lip...

Re: Alien Gear; Hype or worth it?

After using mine now for over 6 months, I couldn't be happier with it. Granted, 90% of the time I just use one configuration, but there have been those times that I wanted to carry a little differently and all it took was a few minutes to swap out configurations and waalaa.. done... I probably spent...

It seems like it defaulted to an old version of software. I can no longer see the most recent posts section on top anymore.

Re: Ruger lcp

Like many here, I have my regular CCW (Ruger LC9s) that I carry, but there are just those times that my normal carry gun won't work so I throw my LCP into my pocket and away I go. I'd rather have it than nothing.
