Bumping for a friend, a great guy, and someone who takes care of his firearms.
Thanks sir. Just sold both. My wife made me by a Motorhome yesterday so there went all my cash.

RV In Florence

Has anyone taken a RV to stay in at the DPS training center in Florence. My understanding is that they close off the parking area inside the gates but there is one outside. Hopefully I’ll get lucky and get my call up for September or December class.

Same here. Was so close to trashing it. Thank you Uncle Sam. Just used it for a down payment on a motor home.

‘Gun Jugging’ on the Rise in Houston

https://www.gunsamerica.com/digest/gun-jugging-rise-houston/ Authorities in Houston are concerned about the rise in gun jugging, local media reports. Not familiar with the term “jugging”? It’s basically a stalk and steal approach criminals use to take cash from bank customers who’ve recently withdra...

Re: Is this legal open carry?

This is also why they said a handgun in a holster laying on a car seat is not legal. It's not in a belt holster cause the holster is not attached to a belt. What if the holster on the car seat was attached to a belt, would it be legal then? LOL... Good one.... It is an exception to the application ...

Re: wearing Armor

I've only been what I would consider "afraid" of being shot 3 times in my 58 years. Once by my 70 year old aunt waving her .25 auto around showing everyone she is armed... and by LTC holder at the range...Who had a ND because he failed to check the gun was chambered (he was 1 foot away from me with ...

Re: wearing Armor

Only when teaching.... I was at the range on Wednesday with a friend who has a fair amount of experience and LTC.. I was still cringing from the next bay over when he had a misfire... That tendency to look at the muzzle when trying to clear was very apparent.. I had to gently tell him to make sure a...

Re: Steel or Polymer wonder

What? Only one revolver!!!!: I’ve gotten more and more into wheel guns but I do like my polymer wonders. G19 is my favorite but if you have not looked at Canik TP9SF (or TP9SFX), I would check it out. Great price, outstanding reliability, feels great in hand. Also, CZ Phantom SP01 is great, i...
