Re: Glad I carry

Your right, I just know how threads can go sideways here sometimes. And I do agree, making sure the property does allow discharging of firearms is one of my top priorities. That’s why we specify to each realtor how important that is to our search.

Re: Glad I carry

This might be a concern.. "Texas permits the commissioners courts to regulate the discharge of firearms on lots that are “10 acres or smaller and are located in the unincorporated area of the county in a subdivision.” So, perhaps you need 11 acres. I have 89 acres. We are looking for unincorporated...

Re: Glad I carry

Please remember, 10 acres, (if mowing is involved) will eventually be a lot of maintenance work. I once wanted a few more acres in addition to what I have now and man am I glad I didn't buy them. It's all I can do to keep up with what I have now...food for thought! P.S. The guy that built our fence...

Glad I carry

We're on the hunt for some acreage out in the country and was out looking at 10 acres on Saturday. We pulled up to the property and got out. I noticed some free range dogs across the street, but didn't pay much attention to them. About 10 minutes later one of them trotted on over to us, large dog, m...

Reviews of Local Range by Culo Tonto Autofoto 0 ☆☆☆☆☆ So happy we can finally give 0 star reviews. This range has the most aggressive and unfriendly RSOs, at least I think that's what he called himself. I dunno. They walk around like they own the place watching everyone like some creepy pervs. Anyw...

Re: Thoughts on a Taurus .44 Mag revolver

What I don't understand is why is not already sitting in your gun safe..

Taurus revolvers from what I've seen have a pretty good rep... If the price is right go for it.

Re: Star BM 9mm Pistol

As was said in a few post above, the magazine release does catch inside the mag well. I have to slap mine in as well. I have the full sized version though. It's been redone on the inside with new springs, polished, etc.. and the outside has a nice 2 tone cerakote finish. Just a joy to shoot, low rec...

Re: Star BM 9mm Pistol

The Star BM is a variant of the Star B, which is an exact clone (Spain) of a CZ 75 Compact No, it isn't - the Star B came out before the CZ75 and is loosely based on the 1911. You are correct sir. Re: New AR sight in

People set things up in different ways. I use RDs for either 10 or 25 yards, as an alternate to a 1-4x optic, or as a quicker torso-index at 50 yds. If you want faster acquisition on a ~6" target(target area inside a larger target surface) at 50, or using a a Sig-style "cover-and-kill" on a 6" disc...
