Re: Shipping parts to Italy

I just sent my friend an email telling him that I can't send them.... It's just not worth it..... Would it be ok.. Probably.... But I'm just not going to take that chance.... As a side note I own a small company that manufactures firearm grips, magazine stickers, While I am nowhere near a firearms p...

Re: Shipping parts to Italy

Received this from the manufacturer. We can ship anywhere within the US only. It actually comes down to ITAR and taxes. You have to have a special license to ship internationally and from a cost standpoint, it isn't worth paying and applying for all of that. If you are here in the US, you can absolu...

Re: Shipping parts to Italy

Don't play games. Including RC parts says cover up. Simply confirm that you are not breaking any laws before acting. I would not place myself at risk if I were in your situation. No favor to a friend is worth Federal prosecution. We used to travel from Upstate NY to Michigan and had to go the long ...

Re: Shipping parts to Italy

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I plan on calling them today and ask why they wouldn’t ship. I like the idea of including some RC parts. :tiphat:

I can’t think of any reason why this would be a problem, but we’re talking common sense and the U.S government. Kind of an oxymoron.

I see nothing wrong with mailing the parts. I wouldn’t mail a barrel, slide, mag, or that stuff, but we are talking springs and one has a plastic “thing” in it.
Agreed.
Appreciate the reply

Shipping parts to Italy

I have a friend in Italy that needs a trigger spring and a slide spring and rod... The company here in the U.S won't ship to him... I know I can mail a spring to him, but not 100% sure about a guide rod.... Anybody see anything wrong with this... I of course don't want to do anything illegal.... Her...

So your required to KNOW the laws of the State your shipping to? That's a big burden to bear!
While I whole heartily agree with you.... The ol' "Ignorance of the law is not an excuse" thing may be argued by the courts....

Re: M&P 15-22 Consumer Safety Alert

.... Does anyone know what the thickness of that tool is or what the depth of the recess is supposed to be? Saw someone today post theirs into a reloading forum I follow on f-book. measured at .035 with their digital calipers. I'm still waiting on mine to arrive. Mine just arrived and I can confirm...

Will you have to pay taxes or FFL on either of them. That should be taken into consideration on the final price.
I assumed "out the door" included tax and transfer fees, if any.

I vote New for the extra $40.
Awww.... That was so nice of you to point that out for me.......

Looking for private range for a group

All, Reaching out to any of you that has or has contact with anyone with a private range... We've been informed that several other churches are interested in joining or group for so...

Anybody going to the Dallas Market gun show this weekend

Buddy of mine wanted to go and he's never been to one before so what the heck. Plus he is taking his LTC class next weekend. I don't really need anything and probably should leave my $$ at home... 1. $8.00 Entry fee 2. $10.00 lunch 3. Beef Jerky, cheese and sausage snacks to bring home - $40.00 Cool...
