Re: Ever Eaten Raw Beef?

Back when I was a wee lad, I use to eat raw beef all the time. Though most of our meat was not store bought, we raised cattle and had our beef processed locally. I still eat raw venison after a fresh kill and I will still order a steak slightly less than medium rare, but don't eat any prepackaged be...

Armed citizens moving to defend the border

The U.S. Border Patrol this week reportedly told Texas landowners along the U.S.-Mexico border to prepare for a possible influx of "armed civilians" on their property as the migrant caravan moves closer to the U.S., a report said. https://www.foxnews.com/us/border-patrol-warns-texas-landowners-abou...

Re: Paint Removal

Depending on the paint, you could get some non-chlorinated brake cleaner, spray it down and brush it off. There is some plastic friendly paint stripper out there, can't remember the name of it.

Re: Cities improperly posting 30.06 signs?

My daughter was riding with our niece yesterday and was involved in a hit and run accident. Nothing major, just cracked paint on the bumper. Anyway's they went to the PD, just 150 yrds away, and filed a complaint. When I got there, saw the 30.06 sign, no 30.07. Signage is compliant with code, but no...

I'm not seeing the OP's section 109 language in the engrossed bill.

Did a text search for "Permits individuals to possess firearms" as well as simply "firearms".... Not found anywhere.

Sad
Would that be the Engrossed Amendment Senate? If so, it is stated in that.

I am in complete envy of you. I have several posts on FB, that I would think would be worthy of a slap, but noooo, they allowed me to keep them up.

Re: Ted Cruz Sign

As much as I would love to display a Cruz sign in the yard, I elect to not do so. While the town I live in is mostly red, the loonies are here as well. I'll keep gray and let my preferences be applied at the polls.

Re: Interesting Night Last Night

After a bit more looking at my pic, I have concluded that the snake being the meal, was not a copperhead, but a glossy snake. The glossy snake is non-venomous, mostly nocturnal and it's diet is mostly small vertebrates, like mice and lizards. Still cool to see anyways. Excellent! I had heard of it b...

Interesting Night Last Night

Last night about 1 AM, my dog started barking, thought she was barking at the deer, as usual. But noticed her bark was a little different, so I went to the door and knocked for her to come. When she got to the porch, she turned and started looking at the ground, ran back down the stairs and stood ab...
