Re: Odd...

As an interesting and oddly coincidental update to this thread, I stopped by again late yesterday and the 30 06 sign was gone. I also re-checked the front windows just to be sure.

Re: Odd...

.but no Spanish. if no Spanish, it is not a legally enforceable sign. Should you carry in there even though it is not enforceable? Well, I would carry there OR I would not give them any business at all, as if you believe their intention is to not want CHL's, then don't give them CHL money. Unless I...

Re: Odd...

All the statute states, If I remember right is "conspicuously posted" Nothing says it has to be in the front of the store or 'at the entrance' I believe it is much like a 51% sign, once you see it, you have been notified, period, regardless of when you see it. My only question then would ...

Odd...

As I tend to do every couple of months, I stopped by a large, well-managed pawn shop up the road. They always have a large number of rifles, shotguns, and handguns up for sale at surprisingly reasonable prices...and they are usually open to negotiation. I have made a few worthwhile purchases there. ...

Re: LC9 review

I sympathize with the OP's experience with the LC9 but cannot say my experience has been the same. My LC9 ate 107 rounds of JHP and FMJ ammunition flawlessly the first time out. The trigger pull and break were clean, and double-taps and rapid fire shots were accurate enough at 7 yards. You could sa...

Good experience flying with weapon

Just wanted to pass along a positive experience yesterday... Checked in at the AA ticket counter at DFW and quietly declared a firearm in my luggage. The AA employee discretely handed me the declaration form to sign, gave me my boarding pass, and then quietly directed me to the TSA room just down th...

I see that now that he's edited his post after mine and made me look like an idiot. ;-) He didn't specify originally.

Correct. I made a few edits after the original post. My apologies. Thanks for bringing the caliber to my attention.

Re: Beretta PX4 Storm

Quick update on an old post...
As of yesterday, I now have around 600 smooth, flawless rounds through the Px4. I am really enjoying this weapon.
I also got to send some EBR rounds down range this weekend. Overall, not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Re: Carry with Laser/Light combo?

I have a laser/light on my Glock-but it stays in the nightstand. Couldn't imagine trying to carry it! I can understand laser grips but not something on the rail. That's my thinking as well. I had just noticed holsters built around the laser/light and was wondering if they were actually practical en...

Re: I want to know where this guy got trained

Well, that was different. I think it was more disconcerting to me that he did not seem to have any backstop for all of his shots...I saw woods with open field beyond. Other than that, I think he could perhaps use some medication.
