Re: ND While Carrying Appendix

I've been carrying a G43 Glock regularly for around 3 months. There have been two incidents where it didn't "feel" right as I holstered it. Sure enough, there was a bit of shirt that had made it's way inside the holster. Currently, I always holster the pistol a bit on the cautious side. An...

Re: My Leftist Son....! ? !

Sorry to hear that. I wouldn't sell your stuff- keep it (unless you really don't like it) Hmm... is there a new girl in the fold? Wondering if you put him through school or gave him a car when he went to A&M or paid his living expenses, etc. Remind him of those things and remind him to respect ...

karl Alexander for 187th District Court Judge He's a true stand up guy! Very professional and knowledgeable. You could ask him a question on just about anything legal, and he has the answer off the top of his head. Not to mention, he has no pity on those who abuse women or children. NONE! Here's a ...

Re: Glock 43 Shooting 147 Gr. HST's - Problem?

Just a thought. But if I was having issues with the last round and certain ammo, I'd put a dependable round in the bottom. It's not the best solution, but should work. Plus, Magguts has a flat spring that'll give you and extra round of capacity. I don't have experience with it personally, but plan t...

Re: Glock 43 Carry - What is your fav holster/method?

I figured I'd weigh in on this as I just bought a Glock G43 last week. Plus, I'm a slim guy as well. Before the G43 I was carrying a Beretta Nano which is also a small gun. It ain't easy hiding much of anything when your slim and don't wear baggy clothes! For reference, I'm about 5'8" and aroun...

Re: Road Rage Incident

I know I'm going to raise a few eyebrows with this comment, but hear me out. This is just food for thought, so don't take me serious. One thing I've learned while playing numerous video games is never back yourself into a corner! One combatant can become two. Ammo can be depleted. The enemy mi...

Re: Good Podcasts?

I've been listening to podcasts for the last couple of months. Great way to glean info while getting ready for work. I can't say enough about Modern Combat and Survival. Full of informative info, and from knowledgeable and experienced speakers. And I emphasize experienced. The host, Jeff Anderson is...

....proceeds to square himself and move toward my vehicle (about 1-2 car lengths away)..... My son asked me just last night about confronting a bully that keeps coming at him. It's a similar situation in that you do NOT want to appear to be an aggressor. I told him to make some noise before resorti...

Re: Are AR15s going up in price?

Just weighing in here, the S&W SportII I bought this January was $500 at a local gun store. It's now $600!
Again, politicians are raising firearms prices by increasing the demand for firearms. :grumble

Re: Buh-Bye Optics Planet

I'm really starting to question why I, or anyone else, has need for a 30 round magazine for hunting, target shooting or home protection? Thirty round "magazines" are an evil plot to promote ammunition sales! :reddevil I keep telling myself I'm only going to shoot X number of rounds. Then ...

Re: Buh-Bye Optics Planet

Well that explains why I couldn't find a 30 round clip. :headscratch I had a $40 gift certificate with Optics Planet and was intending to use it for a clip and some other goodies. It's a shame that the laws of their state have an influence on their business. I wouldn't stop doing business with a com...

Re: Does This AR Custom Build Look Okay?

Just an update Added the advice of TAM (The Annoyed Man) and added a Primary Arms 1X6 scope. Nice! During the day, the image is outstanding. At night, at 1X1 magnification I can see almost as much as with my naked eyes. Not bad for a total of $816.22. Granted, $40 of that is a gift card that can be...

Awesome! It's great to see public displays of support for our great country. Americans should be united. Whether you agree or disagree with the current politics, we are Americans who have the right to change our politics! I just wish more people would have stood there with hand over heart and not te...
