Met Barney Fife and Andy Taylor in OKC...

...Figuratively of course but reading this thread made me think of it. So its almost two years ago and my wife's, cousin's husband dies. Required reading for me. I had my daughters read it too. It’s short but loaded.

Re: Well... there goes Constitutional Carry

OT, but when we visited the capitol last Summer, I ran across Speaker Strauss (no, not with my car) as he was skulking around near the cafeteria. I say "skulking" because as soon as I made eye contact, he averted his eyes and ducked into the cafeteria.

Voted.

52% to 48% with 8946 votes. With these last rounds of elections and the closing of the margin in this poll, maybe the border we should be wathing is the California border.

Re: Entering a “gun free zone” to stop or intervene during an active crime

I am not an attorney but I have sat on a jury and unless you have had that wonderful experience yourself you have no way to fathom why a DA prosecutes a case that I would have thought would not be prosecuted and believe me, juries don't always come to logical conclusions. Don't assume that you will...

Re: Las Vegas Mandalay Bay Active Shooter

About Bump Stocks - Thanks to his alleged use of a bump stock, a lot fewer people were killed than might have been otherwise. I'm seeing some reports that suggest as many rounds landed in the dirt as found a target. With no little experience in auto fire myself, I can assure you had he been using th...

Re: EX PA NFL TX LTC arrested in NJ for 9MM CCW blames HOU

excercising that right also comes with some self discipline. JMHO Is it possible the maturity level and self-discipline of many NFL players.... are at low levels, is due to the players' (generally) young ages? I was 17 when I joined the Army. Barely 18 when I strapped on a parachute, was handed a 1...

In all fairness to the AG, this and his preceding opinion specifically name "non profits" as the entity that doe not get fined. Nothing I've read seems to say the same for "for profits", gun shows, et al.

Re: Dentist Office Posting 30.06 and 30.07

My dentist likes to talk about CC guns and ammo when I visit. He had just switched to a 9mm before my last visit so he and his wife are carrying the same guns. OT, carrying the same gun makes sense in a lot of ways. Interchangeability of ammo, familiarity of use should one spouse need to use the ot...
