Re: N.K. Leader fed Uncle to the dogs alive

Apparently some media debate over the truth of the dog feeding story http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2014/01/03/259386090/did-kim-jong-un-feed-his-uncle-to-120-dogs-be-skeptical I'm sorry, I'm confused- is NPR posing questions regarding the habits of the Washington Post and their own reporting,...

Re: Bond Arms advertised on radio today

Really well made, and definitely solid guns. Hardly lightweight, but they shoot some potent calibers from small packages. Several years ago, they bought the rights to the Boberg's XR9-S, and its one of the few "unique" guns, I really would like to have. http://mousegunaddict.blogspot.com/2012...

Re: DIY mailboxes vs. thieves

Growing up in Colorado, we contended with snowplows and summer mailbox batting sprees. Best solution was made by a neighbor: 8 foot 3" x 1/8" steel pipe post, down 4' in concrete 1/8" steel plate, welded into a box shape 6" steel hinge, shielded by recess into the box body, welded to door & box If y...

I believe you'll really like the 930, it feels a bit more responsive than the inertia guns, to me. Tuning and customization links: OR3Gun. At the least, their MST is a very worthwhile investment. http://or3gun.com/OR3GUN/about_or3gun_combo.htm Hahn Precision Safety Rail combo This is nice because (d...

Re: Gun-handling - Ken Hackathorn and Bill Wilson go off

Emerson pulled out his 17, cleared the chamber, inserted a loaded mag, and hurled it at a pile of rocks in a gorge. They all went down to retrieve his pistol. Everyone eared up, and Emerson emptied the mag into the hillside. He asked who would replicate the demo with the 1911s on hand. Dead silence...

I use all tools very hard and in adverse conditions at times. However, I never abuse them. Throw that Glock at a pile at rocks and it may shoot back at you.
As I indicated, per Emerson, it was a cleared chamber. No fools were at that table.

Re: Gun-handling - Ken Hackathorn and Bill Wilson go off

Not gonna fight with you bro. Wilson, Brown, etc., command a high price because they are the Ferraris of the firearms world. A Glock with a grand of mods is pretty self-defining as more inherently fragile than the base platform. A stock RIA or Springfield will be more tolerant of being dropped in th...

Re: Gun-handling - Ken Hackathorn and Bill Wilson go off

With regard to closing the cylinder on a revolver, Ken is shown on the video placing his fingers on the cylinder and pushing it closed, which is much better than snapping it sharply to the right to close it. However, before Gander Mountain Frisco closed (shortly after opening, by the way!), a gentl...

Re: Seismic Quakemaker +M ammo...

I'm going to say the recoil impulse is similar to the difference between .45FMJ and .40S&W, and I'm not a huge fan of either OEM load. Against moderately insulated human beings, the mid-range (124-135 grain) loads, running 1200-1300 fps generally produce the most consistent aggression-stops, with th...

There is no AIM, "song for sending spirits home." They are domestic terrorists, co-dependent in relation to the poverty propogating Progressive system.

Oh. Wait. I mean they are Indigenous Rights Activists engaged in an epic struggle.

BOT, yes, for decades the "child deaths by firearms" have (in various studies) gone to the extreme of including those 25yoa and younger, and disregarding previous violent felony experience by any/all of the deceased. More recently, in worldwide studies, the authors have included locations where US s...

Re: Brookline Massachusetts Wants to Register Security Camera Owners
