Re: Nobody but Bernie Sanders

Sanders is probably going to win, but in the long term that's a good thing. The odds that the current economic bubble lasts for another 4 years are very low, and as a result, if Trump is re-elected, he'll take the blame. Whoever sits in the White House when the music stops will take the fall, no ma...

Re: Corona Virus (2019-nCoV) from China: Its going to be bad.

Nothing new, and fully expected. State is infested with PoliSci vermin. If it looks good on the front page & Live at 5, they go with it. We'll worry about the details later...

How about a stock gun with copper inlay grip panels? https://www.ravenwoodgrips.com/listing/509798757/copper-leaf-and-turquoise-inlaid-flower For a lady that doesn't know much about guns, I would say this would be the best option. A copper inlay on any handgun is not going to wear well, unless it i...

Re: Got a light bearing holster today, and...

You do have to have a light-sized channel.

Phlster does light holsters, and does them well.

Through the end of the month, purchase a light holster, and they're donating 10% to a Minnesota RTKBA group.

Mexico would be a much better place after a carpet of neutron bombs. El machismo del mejor jefe is the tribal way.

Re: Difference of opinion before the "rack"

I really, REALLY, like the Vickers mag baseplates: https://tangodown.com/vickers-tactical-9mm-40-glock-floor-plates-vtmfp-001/ Not too big, not too little, but you can certainly hook the lip on the edge of your belt/boot/something else, if you need to strip a mag. I also like Ghost products, and the...

It's ok, really. If you have to use your engine block for cover, "fur real", you'll probably have more holes in the far side than the top side! :biggrinjester:

Re: FL:Stand your ground law under fire for parking space dispute murder

I had to look this up. Many of the other forum members may not be familiar with this acronym. EDP = Emotionally Disturbed Person. This has been used by NYPD, NY EMS, and apparently others, since the above poster used it. SIA Thank you. EDPs. Rarely a deadly threat but possibly a threat of some viol...

Re: Carry pistol failure

The technology is pretty well established, at this point, I would say. I would not expect any significant issue from a new MIM replacement. I had a 940 when they first came out. Really enjoyed it, but it was eventually traded off. A couple of years ago, I sent out a SP101 to Pinnacle High Performanc...

Re: FL:Stand your ground law under fire for parking space dispute murder

He told investigators he has a "pet peeve" about illegal parking in handicapped spots and often walks around such cars looking for handicapped stickers and placards, sometimes taking photographs. He said he often sees people illegally parked in the handicapped spot at that convenience store, but th...

Re: Carry pistol failure

The 940s were made when S&W was first starting to use MIM parts. Newer products do not seem to have as many issues, as the '90s guns did, but I would get a milled hand from Numrich. YMMV, and based on your capabilities. ;-)

Re: Lessons from observing 5000 gunfights

Good point ELB. But I would recommend slashing major muscles that would immediately debilitate the use of their leg or arm if you have enough distance and leverage. Stabbing seems to have more of a delayed response, especially if they are running on adrenaline and drugs. Good to train and think of ...

Re: 8-state anti-sanctuary compact - is this the beginning of something?

Would not work. Cross border firearms regulation is under federal law. Well, de facto , it does work. We've seen it with the anti-ICE sanctuary cities, NY/NJ heinous firearms legislation, etc.. We also know that the passive-resistance model that the Progressives are so fond of cannot be used agains...

Re: Lessons from observing 5000 gunfights

(a) a defensive knife used to get to a gun or in any capacity by someone carrying a gun; This is a very real consideration in armed abductions, I personally know 2 LEs who fought through kidnapping attempts, going from knife to gun. For the average Joe, probably not a main concern, but if you have ...

Re: Difference of opinion before the "rack"

I noticed recently that John Correia has a record number of followers on YouTube. Good for him. He does have some good things to say. But ….. I am not in agreement with what he states in #10 in the article linked below (and in a specific video he did on the subject). The reason being, even in not n...
