Re: Seismic Quakemaker +M ammo...
I'm going to say the recoil impulse is similar to the difference between .45FMJ and .40S&W, and I'm not a huge fan of either OEM load. Against moderately insulated human beings, the mid-range (124-135 grain) loads, running 1200-1300 fps generally produce the most consistent aggression-stops, with th...

There is no AIM, "song for sending spirits home." They are domestic terrorists, co-dependent in relation to the poverty propogating Progressive system.
Oh. Wait. I mean they are Indigenous Rights Activists engaged in an epic struggle.

Re: Doctors and Guns
BOT, yes, for decades the "child deaths by firearms" have (in various studies) gone to the extreme of including those 25yoa and younger, and disregarding previous violent felony experience by any/all of the deceased. More recently, in worldwide studies, the authors have included locations where US s...

Conneticut. Pit bull off-leash .22lr "defensive" firearm. None of this speaks of good judgement.

Re: Brookline Massachusetts Wants to Register Security Camera Owners
Our tax dollars pay to install traffic and city "safety" cameras, yet citizens do not have the right to even request footage, for either civil or criminal actions. Want my home camera footage? Sure. $100/month...

Re: Obamacare was just ruled unconstitutional in Texas
If or when people lose coverage due to this, it will be the death of Republicans for the next election... it will just be one more reason for people to say it is the party of the rich. I rather doubt that. More people have learned that, "Universal Coverage," isn't free, in fact, it's darn pricey. E...

Re: Death to Moon Clips (Maybe)
I wouldn't think so since the headspace in the cylender would control how deep the cartridge actually falls. So in the case of the LCR the cartridge actually sticks out of the back of the cylender about an eighth of an inch (roughly) when not using the moon clips. That being said, the star would on...

Re: Death to Moon Clips (Maybe)
The 547, and possibly the Mateba Medusa (IIRC) are the best examples of these. A spring-loaded extractor is really the best mechanism, as it offers least possibility for failure. I do have one of Mark Hartsthorne's conversion cylinders for my SP101, and it is phenominal! Uses them moon clips, tho'.....

Re: Genuine Mags or aftermarket?
MecGar is OEM for numerous gunmakers (Beretta and Tangfolio come immediately to mind). I have an even mix of about 10 each, MecGar and Ruger, and they all function perfectly.

Re: Interesting question involving both 1st & 2nd Amendment
too much of this is getting really, really close to "thought" crime....it's kinda scary. You can't prosecute before the crime y'all I've largely stayed out of this, because it really is a moot point. There is waaaay too much gang influence for a serious challenge to be mounted. If I have a 10" AR u...

In that case, prosecute the person if they have committed one of the crimes listed above. Association should not be a crime. Participation in gang activity, "pledging in", is a public statement of agreement and support of, the activities of the gang. If you don't believe criminal activity is a vali...

Re: Interesting question involving both 1st & 2nd Amendment
I have always wondered how gang membership could be outlawed. Some might say NRA membership should be outlawed. Interesting and I don't have an answer. You're kidding, right? Criminal enterprise in support of political change is more commonly called, "terrorism." Summary of common RICO prosecutions...

I thought Barnes used to offer a solid copper, flat-nosed, slug, but I couldn't find them. This is probably a fair round: http://www.selwayarmory.com/buffalo-bore-44-remington-magnum-270-gr-jacketed-flat-nose-box-of-20.html or the Barnes 160 grain Hone Badger http://www.selwayarmory.com/black-hills-...
