No FDA. Free market, court systems, licensing and professional opinion of your own doctor.

Combine that with a regulation free (or light) insurance market across the whole US and healthcare just became very affordable for all.

But compared to NOT having that stint put in place, I would say it is much safer.

Are things probably too financially driven? Yes, but it is still scientific development.
