https://www.click2houston.com/news/local/2020/06/05/ogg-case-involving-george-floyd-was-among-goines-cases-being-reviewed-by-prosecutors/ Oh its always interesting when events get intertwined together. George Floyd conviction was a case being reviewed by prosecutors as it was a Goines case. That wa...

Re: Man who died from knee to neck was from Texas

When this broke, I did a quick search of Harris Co criminal records, and a George Floyd, 46, 6'6"/ 250 lbs popped out, but I sat on it because I didn't have a middle name or DOB on the Milwaukee man. What piqued my interest was the "gentle-giant-father-of-two" and "starting a new life" narrative, w...

or just "enemy."
Yeah; I think JINO can work. And we can add adjectives as fitting (or as thought silently, if they violate forum rules). I was thinking Pujou, for "puppet journalist," but that doesn't go far enough because it implies that are actual journalists...

What do we think we're up to, 93? At first I thought HPD would be releasing statistics only once per quarter, but it looks like it's every month...only it takes 5 or 6 weeks to update the Excel spreadsheet. Latest version, January through April, is here: https://www.houstontx.gov/police/cs/xls/NIBRS...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

In President Trump's press conference this morning, he concluded and sat down to sign a bill. That didn't prevent questions being shouted at him from the audience of "journalists." (We need a better word for fake journalists...something like RINO for not-really-Republicans; "Journos" doesn't work be...

New York, NY, June 4, 2020 : The World Health Organization reported today on the findings of an important US$2.2 million COVID-19 study funded by drawn from its member nations. I’m trying to imagine how tight you’d have to cinch up a gun belt to keep your 6 lb AR from pulling your pants down.
I'm thinking this Blackhawk suspender harness under my plate carrier:

Re: AR Pistol Carry...the “proper/legal” way...

I'd like to have one. Any idea where to purchase? Back to seriousicity, as denego said, the AR 15 Kydex Holster pictured is made by Redline Pro Gear and costs $95.95. Their Facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/RedlineProGear/ . I include that because they don't seem to have their own website s...

As a matter of seriousicity, they honest to God make holsters... jeez. There ya go! The zombie-horde-is-attacking kit: Plate carrier with six 40-round 5.56 PMAGs and a honkin' Bowie knife (and maybe something tiny like a Kahr PM9) MOLLEd onto it Your choice of a 5.56 battle rifle on a Blue Force sl...

Re: Do you remember your very first time carrying after receiving your plastic?

Edit: I think the Wally Walk rules need to be revised. Can't buy pistol ammo there anymore. :???: Yep; agreed. My first carry, I think I went to a Boot Barn. But, wow; I can't really remember. I do remember that my first CC was a Glock 26. Changed my mind about that after the first few weeks, though.

Praying that the stents do the trick. Still not the most pleasant of procedures, but much better than the alternative, and stents often seem to be able to do wonders literally overnight.

Re: Shocking Evidence Suggests Coordinated Effort To Orchestrate An Uprising Inside The United States

I find the notion of a nationwide, coordinated effort at anarchy and destruction quite believable. I retrospect, in almost all the news video coverage I've seen of active riots, there always seemed to be individuals on bicycles, even in cities where, unlike New York, bicycles aren't common in downto...
