Re: TX: Politics of Guns in Texas

Doesn't change anything, but the article is actually a reprint from the exclusively blue The Texas Tribune . Why the KPRC website would reprint it, I don't know. But pretty much all things NBC now lean far enough to the left that they look like they're walking sideways. To its credit, though, the ar...

Re: NY: 18 yo female Barnard College Freshman stabbed to death in park across from college

Where are the women, on all sides, saying that women should have the right to defend themselves by all means possible???? Oh, yeah, they just hate gun people and firearms companies that much. Not all of them, and some do stand up and, in this example, shout back in Beto O'Rourke's face (literally, ...

Re: TX:The mean streets of Houston

Turned out that standup citizen Tavores Henderson also had a revoked/forfeited bond in Galveston County for felony theft. When the Harris County DA got the charge upgraded to capital murder this morning, that removed the stupid $150K opportunity and Henderson currently sits in lockup with no bond av...

Go to the range and use the laundered ammo for practice. Function check the magazine while you are there.
Just don't be surprised when a few suds come out with the bullet.
A big soap bubble comes out of the barrel with each round and floats away. A new kind of tracer ammo. :biggrinjester:

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

I doubt it, but I really really hope that Pelosi and company are sweating. They made their bed and have no choice but to try to sleep in it now, but it looks like the backlash is already happening. From a couple of days ago in the Washington Examiner (saw Fox News report it too): " Impeachment backl...

What was the assailant shot with, a derringer?
I would speculate one of the shoulder things that go up and shoots 500 armor-piercing rounds per second without pulling a trigger and that can be bought anywhere online without a background check for $19.95.

https://news.yahoo.com/oxen-horses-put-back-cuba-021457944.html Horse and oxen put back to work in Cuba. Greta is so happy, except for those dang pesky farts. Wait. Are you saying Time's 2019 Person of the Year and AOC are both moving to Cuba? Oh. No, you didn't say that. Just my wishful thinking...

Alternatives to Photobucket

I've had a Photobucket account for a long time, but never used it much. Just posted an image from there to a topic here and the watermark thing they started adding a year ago is positively massive . To me, it makes Photobucket useless for things like sharing on the forum. There's Imgur and Flickr an...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

This may not be entirely appropriate. If it isn't I apologize and please delete. But the esteemed Jerry Nadler, who has been invading our TV screens way too much the past couple of weeks with all things "impeach Trump", is evidently up for re-election next year, and I found this graphic on the inter...

Re: Nobody but Art Acevedo

The Houston Police Officers Union has written a letter objecting to the actions of Chief Art Acevedo after the death of the Seargent and hijacking the solemn moment to go political about guns. The chief’s comments have gone around the world being repeated hundreds of times in news webs far and wide...

Re: Americans Own 423M guns

The 8.1 billion round figure is also misleading. That's the number of rounds manufactured last year, and doesn't count stored rounds, which of course are impossible to count. There's a whole lot more ammo out there, and a lot more guns as well. Yep! And the firearms sales are all based on the BATF'...

Re: Shoot Point Blank, Humble, Texas, Now open!

I was recently hired by Shoot Point Blank in North Richland Hills. My employment lasted 45 minutes on the first day. I was told that my beard had to go ... 1/2” maximum length allowable. The manager and I both smiled, shook hands, and parted ways with no hard feelings. What no high capacity beards?...
