Re: Postal Service is a joke...

It's possible that the shipper put the wrong address on the package. I've had this happen to me in the past. Just one digit off the zip code or house number will throw everything into disarray.

Re: Apartment Lease Contract Handgun Addendum

Eh, not a big deal. You can still carry between your apartment and your car, and you can still keep firearms to protect yourself in your apartment. Better to err on the side of caution and just obey the law. You can always move to a new place when the lease is finished, although moving is obviously ...

Re: Carry rules for non CHL citizens

Upon further review, it appears that I WAS incorrect regarding having a handgun in a vehicle without an LTC. The gun does need to be concealed from view, but you are allowed to have it on your person as long as you're in the vehicle. My sincerest apologies. Thank you for the clarification.

Re: Carry rules for non CHL citizens

Without an LTC, you can have a loaded handgun in your vehicle if: -The gun is NOT on your person FALSE -The gun is concealed from view with all four of the vehicle's doors open FALSE - no open door requirement Therefore, keeping the gun in the glove box or a bag is totally legal. Even keeping it on...

Re: Dan Licardo Needs Our Help!

Drove past this accident with my wife as the helo was lifting off the deck and heading to the hospital. It was ugly, to say the least. The seizure makes a lot more sense now, because at the time, I was blown away that anybody would be driving that fast in a 45 mph zone to do that much damage to a ve...

Re: Civet Coffee

I love fresh roasted coffee, I wish I had the time, skills and equipment to do this. Green beans seem pretty hard to find too. For me I settle for Sam's club Columbian. Most of the time. My wife actually found a place, I believe near her office in Irving, that sells green coffee beans. I have some ...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

I can't help but notice you, an economist by training, criticize the administration's economic decisions, yet offer no better plan to be considered. I could write pages on this topic. But I've seen enough online arguments between two entrenched parties to realize that no matter the volume or qualit...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

I'm not a liberal by any stretch, but as an economist by training, I can't help but notice that the administration is making decisions based upon economic theories that were debunked decades (or even centuries) ago. Fundamental changes needed to be made to the way the U.S. does business at home and ...

Re: Springfield 1911 9mm back from repair

Jeez, that thing sounds like a dog. SAI has always had good customer service, and it's a good thing they do, because MANY of their firearms end up going back to the mothership for warranty service, especially 1911's and M1A's. Hopefully they fixed their gun for you.
