Re: Official DPS stats on LTC for 2023

I understood the premise behind "Constitutional Carry", but was not really a fan of it because I felt that if someone is going to carry a sidearm in public, I would prefer they understand the state's lethal force laws, deescalation tactics, and at least be able to hit what they shoot at. E...

Re: WTB S&W Shield Plus 10-Round Magazines

Thanks for the replies. Two mags I needed were picked by a friend at the Conroe Gun Show. I bought the Shield Plus to use in the IDPA BUG division and it will only fit in the BUG box with the 10-rounders. If I ever choose to carry it, the 10 round mag would serve as spare.

WTB S&W Shield Plus 10-Round Magazines

If anyone here has purchased a S&W Shield Plus, which comes with a 10-round and a 13-round magazine, and has no use for the 10-round magazine, I would be interested in purchasing it.

Red Dot (or green dot) pistol optics

Couple of questions and a couple of thoughts. I shoot IDPA with a local Houston Club and a couple of major matches each year - IDPA. I have noticed the Stock Service Pistol and Custom Defensive Pistol divisions shrinking while the Carry Optics division is growing - especially in at my local club wee...

Re: "We Dare Not Keep Silent": ATF Releases Anti-Gun Rule For Public Comment

I heard that an investigation has already started on BATF employees putting comments on the register encouraging and approving of the proposed changes. It seems an internal BATF memo or email was sent out encouraging BATF employees to do this as they are citizens also and are entitled to make their ...

Good luck. As a matter of course they do not give out such permission letters.

Re: Sig P320 un-commanded discharges

Getting the spring off is not the issue. Getting it back on is the issue. With the new FCU (gold trigger) I don’t see how it can be put back on unless you have three hands.

Re: Sig P320 un-commanded discharges

I own several, one I sent in for the upgrade and one came with the upgrade. They had an issue with a trigger shoe that was heavy by weight, and if smacked hard enough at the rear of the gun the trigger and trigger bar would move backward enough to discharge the weapon. They went to a light weight tr...

Biden's Chice to Head the BATF

Biden’s choice to head up the BATF is insanity, just as many things the communist-democrat party is trying to do. By trying to appoint this feces as head of the BATF is akin to having a convicted child molester appointed as head of Child Protective Services. Imagine if you will, Trump appointing Way...

Re: Glock Killer ?

The real Glock killer may have finally been found – at least for me. I hear this term, “Glock Killer” from time to time and although I understood the concept, it puzzled me a bit in that if you built something just a good as a Glock, why would anyone change from something that they were familiar wi...
