Received letter from DPS on Saturday 10/18. Went online and completed the renewal application that afternoon.

Just checked the site again and there's no status showing at all. I went to check it because I received the same renewal notice in the mail again yesterday, dated same as the first one.

A friend has a situation where he had two guns and a suppressor shipped to a FFL, items were delivered to the FFL in January and he won’t release them. Keeps saying they’re not ready.
What legal steps/recourse can he take to get his purchases from the FFL?

It's a reaction to "glock switches." I kid you not….They think that the Glock pistol is a machine gun because you can hack it with a switch. It hasn't occurred to them yet that it's not going to be that difficult for switch-makers to design units to fit lots of striker-fired pistols.
