Re: Denial Letter: Failed to qualify under eligability criteria...

As far as I know a DA is considered a conviction for the purposes of obtaining a LTC/CHL. Your best option is "to purge" the DA from your record. Hire an attorney or petition the court to restore your right for LTC/CHL. A completed Felony DA is only counted as a conviction for 10 years for LTC purp...

Re: Experience dealing with LEOs during events etc?

They undoubtedly could keep out license holders from other states if they wished to, but they would be hard pressed to charge them with a crime if they managed to get in, as there is no such statute. Oh I don’t believe that at all. Regardless of which of the legislature’s Security rules you break, ...

Re: Why Did 'Asian' Replace The Word 'Oriental' & Other Things?

Hold it! Occidental, (not to be confused with orthodontics) is a an oil corporation. ok, ok, I kid. Though, I find the term occidental offensive as is my prerogative as another complaining about nothing human bean. I prefer 'whitey'. As a “person of pallor” I am offended by the term whitey. I prefe...

... I didn't think they let out of state licensees in with handguns. ... Reciprocity would be largely meaningless if they didn't. Sorry if I wasn't clear. I was referring to the State Capitol, which does not operate under the LTC law (e.g. reciprocity and all that). What law,do they operate under? ...

Re: Medical Facilities

Government owned hospitals can post enforceable 30.06/7 signs because carry under (authority of) LTC in hospitals is prohibited in PC 46.035, if they post a 30.0x sign. Also, 411.209 contains a section allowing posting of government property prohibited elsewhere (than 30.0x) in the penal code. So g...

Re: Medical Facilities

In my experience, virtually any healthcare or medical related facility will be posted. Doctors have to have enough individual variety that this isn't a coincidence. There must be some mandate somewhere. Does anyone know where? Well, sort of. There is a requirement in Government Code section 411.204...

Maine is constitutional carry. Well almost for nonresident. There are just a few places off limits for non residents.
I used to have a non-resident Maine license, even though I've never been there...

She should be impeached along with Maxine Waters, Sheila Jackson Lee
Preferably the House could expel her from Congress with a 2/3 vote. Congressmen cannot be impeached.

Re: LTC and "criminal street gang"

Here is another perspectice on the subject: http://www.motorcycleprofilingproject.com/authorities-misapplying-texas-law-to-disarm-bikers/ The article is quite misleading in that they claim 46.02 is being misapplied to prohibit bikers from "possessing" firearms and suggesting that it has been applie...

Re: Star BM 9mm Pistol

I bought this Star BM a while back and hadn't taken it to a range yet. Chambered in 9mm Luger they were made from 1972-1992 for Spanish military use and are being imported now that they are considered surplus after the military and civilian users upgraded to newer firearms. They look similar to a 1...

That's why AA puts a big tag saying Return to BSO (i.e. Steal me, guns inside) when you check a firearm. :banghead:

OK I just drove through a different side of my neighborhood, and instead of the two Beto Bob signs, I saw 5 Cruz signs and a Republican Block Captain sign. :clapping:
