Three kids kill a turtle, and you guys are talking about drawing your pistols?

Re: Have you ever seen...
Not familiar enough with the Colt Mustang. Some striker fired pistols have a trigger safety, which prevents the firing pin from hitting the primer unless the trigger is depressed. Some hammer fired guns have a safety notch to prevent the hammer from hitting the primer if the full cock sear breaks or...

Re: Conundrum? M1A or ACOG
Apologize for speaking, because I own neither. But, wouldn't the ACOG require a trip home every 7 - 10 years to replace the tritium vials?
Long term, the value of the M1A will increase, while the ACOG will decrease.

Regarding that company, someone once told me that if you choose to walk on the razor's edge of the law, you may expect to bleed to death.

Do you think the employee had an outstanding warrant, and walked to the back of the store so as not to be recognized?

Re: Ruger 10/22 Takedown, who has one, and which version?
I don't know which model mine is; no threaded barrel. It is the one with the EOTech mounted on it , so I have not had any problems with the sights. It is great for low light sniping in my back yard. I was forced to replace the trigger group (Kidde).

Why is it that these "break-in" threads are always centered around 1911 pistols?
Think about it.

Interesting.
I am not your lawyer, but I puzzle at why you would object to a well? Even if they don't find anything worth producing, you could get a nice road, a water well, and possibly a stock tank out of the deal. If they find something, that's even better.

Re: Why police sometimes shoot unarmed citizens
I understand, and I was unable to shoot first in the video, and I did shoot the guy with the cell phone the third time. But this makes it look too black or white. There are other options? While the guy is turning to the car, I could move off axis. Which would give me more time to decide (I would not...

Re: Ruger Mark IV Announced
Maybe I am the only one in the history of the world that never had any problems with take-down on my Rugers? Steel receiver, with 5 1/2 bull barrel mark 2 was the best target gun I owned. Foolishly upgraded to a High Standard Supermatic. The High Standard is more accurate with expensive Eli match am...

Re: magazine care?
Do you jack your car up at night to take the tension of it's springs? Of course not. Why? Because the weight of the car is within design limits for the springs. Loaded magazines are also within the spring's design limits. Exactly. UNLESS you have modified or replaced the follower or base plate to a...

Re: HAS ANYONE HEARD OF "OPTICALLY CENTERING A RIFLE SCOPE" ?
I think this "trick" would have more merit if you were using one of the older scope mounts that had adjustments built into the mount.
