Yep, that was part of the confusion- I got my letter 7 months early but thought there was a lesser (90ish day) limit to renew.The Annoyed Man wrote: ↑Sun Dec 11, 2022 12:22 pm You should get a letter from DPS about 6 months before expiration letting you know you can go ahead and renew. I got my letter in early June and renewed a couple of weeks later, for a license that was expiring on October 5th. From renewal application to plastic in hand was about 2 weeks.

I think I recall something from years ago saying you needed ot be inside 60 or 90 days for a renewal but can't find the info.
Anyone recall or know with certainty?
