United States Attorney for the District of Columbia Jessie K. Liu has recommended moving forward with charges for fired Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe after he lied under oath multiple times to federal investigators.

fyi- we have even better imagery than what was in the tweeted photo.
Apparently there is a concern that we may have shot the missile down as it launched.

Wouldn’t that have been cool.
I thought it was an intriguing coincidence that both russia and Iran have had issues within a month of each other when launching a missile. Huh...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

You're right but that's really not much better... the process should be about finding/presenting the truth- guilty or not. And let a jury/judge/panel decide, based on the actual evidence, not just the selectively presented evidence.

Prosecutors withheld from the defense evidence that could have exonerated him.
This kind of behavior should be punished. At a minimum, should be a serious ethics violation.

The View today blamed Trump for the shooting, naturally.
Heard a compilation of tv hosts [on the radio] saying the same... it made me wonder why -if this is Trump's fault, why wasn't Newtown and the other shootings in the last 8 years, the fault of obama??

obama got credit for everything good that happened in his terms, while conservative people or groups got blamed for the bad.

Trump gets blamed for all bad things happening during his, while the good is just residue/carryover from obama. :headscratch

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

Maybe congress would be ok if the IRS did a courtesy audit of all our elected officials, just to be sure all were acting responsibly! And someone like Muller (opposite party of course) walk through their history to see if they ever acted out of line... :tiphat:

Trump making migrants shiver in cold Texas weather.
Whether they were inside or outside the tent, Rosales said people had to sleep on the gravel.

Ivan Pierre Aguirre for BuzzFeed News
Immigration agents would wake them up before sunrise for breakfast, she said.

“I see it as a punishment for entering the country illegally,” Rosales told BuzzFeed News. “Time moved so slow, it seemed like an eternity.”

If you are cooking my breakfast, [free of charge, no less] wake me when it's ready and I will thank you with a smile. Freakin' [criminal] ingrates.

Keep in mind, this whole atrocity of a special council was born from Comey providing his notes and papers to a friend so his friend could release them to the media. Comey's motivation was to ensure a special counsel would be appointed.
In the midst of all this... isn't comey's motivation (and leak of information) to start something the he wasn't authorized to do, a criminal act of an fbi dir?

Supposedly the summary comes out today.

Dems want the entire thing released. Careful what you wish for. Nobody knows whats in it.

They are demanding it.
I'd like the whole story... but would bet my left arm that the report doesn't cover the entire effort to "get him" or the actual lengths by which they went to try and find anything (related to Russia or not) by anyone close to POTUS, only the findings of wrongdoing. And I bet there is a lot of "we didn't find, but we suspect" or nothing "conclusive" wording used, to shade the findings.

Acosta’s White House credentials have now been revoked.
As they should have been... besides the unbelievable disrespect, he physically wrestled the mic from the girl who was running it around the room and did it twice. He should have been escorted out on the spot.
While I find his refusal to relinquish the mic disrespectful and boorish to the intern, after watching the video on FOX several times, he cannot be described as “ physically wrestling “ for the mic.
OK, he didn't "wrestle it" away, he pushed her away [like a spoiled child] several times... Either way the actions of the WH were easily warranted.

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

I am a bit perplexed by the timing of the birthright citizenship talk... it seems like it would fire up the left more than the right. I'm all for eliminating the BRC of those born to illegals, but see it as something that would motivate more left voters then right voters.

Maybe I'm in the minority on this? I'd be pushing the [additional 10%] middle class tax cuts loud and proud, and holding the 14th amendment talk until 11/7.
