Sadly, you missed the point and the mark. Most of us "boycotters" never said they wanted to "hurt" the nfl or it's sponsor, only that WE WOULDN'T SUPPORT them any longer and didn't care if they went under. There is a HUGE difference between not caring or supporting something VS. actually wanting to cause it harm.

And since you don’t watch football any more just letting you know the cowboys still suck so you aren’t missing anything this year.

I'll respectfully disagree. If we let beto and the like start winning elections, it won't much matter matter if you can talk about the guns you used to have, on a forum.

I absolutely realize that my business is nothing to them. Not even a drop in their bucket. My goal isn't to "hurt them," I just don't want to support them. Companies that promote actions that run contrary to my family's values, will not be companies we support.

We've gotten our Sundays back, as a family and that's been a great thing.

Why does he need to be playing??? Most would be employers would say he needs to be better to make the squad, especially at the salary he will want. He was (IIRC) 1-12 in his last job. I believe with a good O-line, I could also do that. (torn rotater cuff and all).

He is a mediocre qb EVEN WHEN HE WAS SHARP, now he sat out a year and is most likely out of shape, out of time and still a project to make a #3 back up out of him.

The real life scenario is this- he's a great player, but just not in the top 50 in his position in the USA. SO that takes you out of a back up role. He's a #3 but wont play for the league minimum and most owners won't risk the financial backlash for a pine rider.

He's suing the nfl... if he'd put as much energy into the qb position, he wouldn't need to sue them... he's just make a team.



But he's being civilly disobedient so he should be a starter. come on, left, be serious.

And I respect your opinion sir. I have a few that’s been through hell and back and are on yard duty as well lol . One thing I can say is that they make a good pair of shoes. I have the same Nike gym shoes from 2014. I am buying because of the Quality not because of what’s happening with NFL or such.

I agree that much of their product is good quality... clothing and shoes.

I also agree that production and marketing are completely independent of one another... however, I have stopped watching and supporting the nfl, and since they have decided to hang their hat on a mediocre QB who went what? 1-12 last time he played? And to make him a martyr of sacrifice does disgust me. Since he opted out (quit) of his contract and any sacrifices he has made were chosen. And being paid by sponsors the whole time wasn't like he was out on the street- still made more than you and I for actually working. In fact, his "civil disobedience" was even lazy... he didn't march, volunteer, help out poor, or even do it in the off season... he chose to literally sit down on the job and on the clock, costing his employer money. Hardly a beacon of inspiration to the younger generation. For those reasons, I'm out.

Sorry for the rant- again not directed at you, just counter reasoning with my own feelings on it.
