Re: Kamala Harris would proclaim new gun-control measures through executive orders (presidential decrees?)

This is why I’ve been so frustrated with Trump’s use of executive power. I know that he hasn’t used it as much as other presidents, but he has used them in more controversial decisions. Thus setting precedent for the next liberal president to order away the 2nd amendment. In the end it doesn’t matt...

Re: What is your favorite carry revolver

TAM, I have the R8 cousin of the TRR8 that you have (virtually identical). They are very pleasant to shoot. You will enjoy it. Good to hear. That’s what I’d expect, for no other reason that shooting the 340M&P with full house loads is kind of like Hulk smashing Loki: https://youtu.be/31ZjnrHR8EA?t=...

https://i.imgur.com/71Jk5Ep.jpg I carry it with 357 magnums. It really is a matter of technique to handle the hot stuff in an 11 ouncer. Grab it as hard as you can...now grip it harder... you’ll be ok. CRUSH grip is all it takes. Surfer https://www.texaschlforum.com/viewtopic.php?p=490416#p490416 I...

Re: US Border: Mexican soldiers disarm US soldiers on US soil at the border

Did they return those weapons to US authorities, or did they keep them for their personal collections.....or perhaps sell them to a cartel?

Re: DPS Body Cam Footage Confirms Dennis Bonnen Lies

This isn't CJ, this is McNutt, everything I have heard about him is that he is one of the nicest, gentlest people you would ever want to meet. This vidoe shows that it was nothing more than a friendly conversation on the side of the road. McNutt does appear to be a vey nice guy and reasonable and w...

Re: DPS Body Cam Footage Confirms Dennis Bonnen Lies

I’m inclined to be suspicious of any video made by, or featuring CJ Grisham - who has only a tenuous grasp on reality. Care to elaborate? This appears to be DPS body cam video. So unless CJ became a DPS trooper, I'm not sure what it has to do with video exposing Dennis Bonnen and his wife as liars....

Re: SBR or pistol

By the way, I have a 7.5" barrel AR SBRs and GOOD LORD, 7.5" is PUNISHING on the ears. If you go with the off the shelf Victor pistol 7.5", you should be aware that shooting it indoors is literally better than dying in a gunfight and not much else. I use a 10.5" unless I have no choice on the short...

Re: DPS Body Cam Footage Confirms Dennis Bonnen Lies

I’m inclined to be suspicious of any video made by, or featuring CJ Grisham - who has only a tenuous grasp on reality. He has a history of only promoting that part which makes him look heroic, and burying those parts that make him look like a fool. It's my observation that the latter instances outnu...

Re: Reliability: Lever Action vs Pump Action Rifles

I have 3 lever action rifles, and one pump action shotgun. The lever actions are a Henry .22LR, a "Remlin" Marlin 30/30, and a JM stamped Marlin .45/70. The shotgun is a Mossberg 590A1. I have never short-shucked any of the lever actions. I HAVE short-shucked the shotgun a couple of times. I admit t...

Re: Ruger announces new .40 cal PC Carbine model

I want the 9mm model. I understand why they issued the .40 cal model next, but to me a .45 ACP model would be a lot more interesting than a .40 cal. And a 10mm model would Trump them all (well at least to me since I’m a 10mm fan). Actually, I’m in partial agreement. While I would like to see a .45 ...

Ruger, Schmuger.

Get one of these, they are AWESOME! https://www.cmmginc.com/product/pistol- ... kg-45-acp/
$1,549.95, versus $439 for the Ruger.
Compelling analysis :smilelol5:
