Re: FL: Glock fails on homeowner only able to kill 2 of the robbers.

I’ve seen my wife's Gen3 G19 malfunction once or twice; but she sometimes forgets to get her hand higher up in the grip, so she doesn’t always have good recoil management ..... limp-wristing it. Several times I’ve previously said on these pages that Glocks are mechanical devices, and just like any m...

That's a great price, and this is the pack I ultimately wanted. If I were still on the market for a pack, I'd snap this one up.

Sigh....... whatever. A large part of grace is being willing not to have the last word. Go ahead, take your best shot. I won’t respond any further.

As long as they remain peaceful about it , I 100% support BLM members' 1st Amendment right to protest in favor of their message..... EVEN IF I don’t agree with all of their message. I DO agree with them that black lives matter. I can even understand that many black Americans believe the same about ...

Re: Where's the Line, What's the Cause?

Need to start a TAM for President line. Nah, don't want him to leave Texas. Although I have agreed with TAM more during the coronavirus situation than the person occupying the executive mansion in Austin. TAM FOR PRESIDENT OF TEXAS! VIVA TEXAS! While I certainly appreciate the sentiments, you guys ...

Re: What are the options if someone stole my garage door remote?

I keep my garage door opener clipped to my visor, but I get around having my vehicle broken into and having the opener stolen and used to burgle my garage by actually parking both of our vehicles INSIDE the garage at night. Novel idea, I know.....but it really works!

Brought my recently purchased Kimber 1911 home in this. Chuck Norris was tied up and couldn't carry it home for me.

Re: Just poking fun at you 1911 guys

This is a view from the international space station of an area in West Texas that had been used as an outdoor gun range for .45 ACP shooters. That portion of the state is now unpopulated and Governor Abbott has a task force working on how the land might be reclaimed and made liveable again. https:/...

Re: Current fingerprinting logjam in DFW

I had to get a TWIC card renewal in June, I called Identigo and had an appointment the next day. I assume the backlog would be the same for fingerprint IDs.. They do take walk-ins Apparently Texas City is faster for making appointnets Depends on where you are. Some municipal areas are busier than o...

Re: Current fingerprinting logjam in DFW

I would add a couple of other things for employers and for LTC instructors that have become major gripes for me.....STOP telling your people these 2 things: STOP telling them that they don’t need to set up an appointment in the IdentoGO system before we will see them as a "walk-in". They absolutely ...

Re: Sam Houston Statue

If so, it's yet another example of stupidity, not "virtue signalling." Houston's father owned slaves and served as a colonel in the Virginia militia. The younger Sam, though, didn't get along with his father at all (and never owned a slave, to my knowledge). The family moved to Tennessee when Sam w...
