Re: I did a thing….no, two things…

The Midwest Industries extended handguard for my SCAR arrived today. Also, I ordered a Khyber Optics 1-10x24 LVPO from Brushbeater.com. It has a 34mm tube, Japanese ED glass, and a pretty nice FFP reticle. Has a transferable lifetime warranty. The dude who owns and runs Brushbeater is a really cool ...

Re: I did a thing….no, two things…

I've just never been a fan of shotgun pistol grips. Those look great.

I thought I would be a pistol grip fan when I first bought the shotgun years ago. After all, I own a number of rifles that have pistol grips, and I like those just fine. But over time, the pistol grip on the shotgun just got ...

Re: MIT professor shot, killed at his home in Boston suburbs

Since it appears that the MIT was a direct, personal target, the open question is about the Brown students. Where they just random targets or did the shooter of a personal connection there, too?

There has to be a connection there too for this to make sense. It would seem weird to me if the ...

There is still no official motive from authorities, nor any confirmation on whether either shooting was targeted. Israeli news outlets have suggested the shootings could have been part of an overseas plot ...

Re: Australia today, despite gun ban 10 dead in mass shooting

SHOCKING: Bondi survivor Vanessa Miller was separated from her three-year-old daughter and pinned down by gunfire. She told @Erin_Molan
that she tried to grab the gun of a critically injured officer to suppress the terrorists, but other officers—rather than returning fire themselves—held her ...

I did a thing….no, two things…

I upgraded the buttstock on my SCAR 17 to an ACR-type, and I ditched the OEM Choate pistol grip stock on my 930 SPX shotgun for a standard Mossberg stock. Both are considerable improvements. The ACR stock is more robust and more slim than the OEM SCAR stock, although it weighs a tiny bit more. The ...

Re: Tough life being Big Mike (Michelle)

She recently had an interesting interview about how tough her life is what with a team of hairdressers and makeup people with her all the time. Also how rough it is having her hair straightened to please white people.

One out fit used this photo. It could be photoshopped or AI, I don’t know ...

I doubt it. I mean, they can make a rule, but it would have no authority over someone who didn’t live in the HOA. Also, if the HOA president gave you a hard time about it, you could take a lesson from the Ukrainians. :evil2:

Re: My mom passed away

Thanks to everyone for your prayers. My brothers got her apartment emptied and its contents into storage. Her celebration of life is tentatively scheduled for January 9th, at the Caltech Atheneum, where she was a professor.

There’s 4 different storage units, in 4 different places scattered all over ...

My mom passed away

My mother finally passed away yesterday morning, around 7am California time. She was 100 years old, and would have made 101 on December 8th if she had lasted that long. I’m actually doing ok, other than it seems weird to type or speak the words "my mother has died." I’m sure I’ll grieve her loss at ...

No changes. There’s always something going on in the world.

What he said.

What i carry depends on where I’m going, and how long I plan to be gone. What might change is maybe getting back to putting some kind of long gun in the car if I’m going to be far from home for a while.
