Re: John Keating Chevrolet
oh ye who is without sin, cast the first stone..... I met Ryk and I liked the guy. He grew up in rural Finland (and Finns are different). Some of his gun handling is not quite up to modern competitive practice but I never saw him INTENTIONALLY muzzle anyone and the only time I saw him violate rule 2...

Re: Walnut media
Just as I seat bullets and crimp as separate steps, I also clean and polish as separate steps. First I tumble for 2 hours using walnut hull media (pet store, reptile bedding) with jewlers rouge (auto parts store) then I tumble for 2 hours using corncob media (pet store, bedding) with NuFinish car po...

Re: Buying guns as a lady......
Just for a little balance... many moons ago I took SWMBO to Oshman's where a nationally rank lady shooter (and member of Team S&W) was making an appearance. When my wife asked to see one of the s&w autos (a 4506 I think) said Professional Lady Shooter said "And I Quote" No honey, t...

When you need to vacuum your reloading area no matter what floor type, USE a SHOP vac with NO beater Brush.

Re: Lee Pro 1000?
Small primers in .45??? I hae loaded over 10k rounds of range pick up brass (very mixed lots) and never seen small primers in them. Do you mean regular and magnum large pistol? I have used magnum primers on accident and it shot just the same. It started with the lead-free rounds (they often have &q...

Re: PSC monthly IDPA
Joked about not letting Kevin and Jim watch "Top Shot" but it was a very good match.
Just curious, who's LCR did we break in? After 78 people put 5 rounds each through it, I figure the action should have been nicely smoothed.
