Considering geographic area alone, Texas is red. But factor in the high population density metropolitans (Houston, DFW, Austin, San Antonio) and the overall numbers are pushed towards blue. This is mostly from out of state unfluence IMO, just from my casual encounters. California and Northeastern states have inundated The Woodlands area (someone mentioned Montgomery county), I concur with this assessment. I also visit family in Austin quite frequently and a great majority of residents come from out of state.

With Pelosi and the Dems pushing for illegal voting rights, Texas could very well turn blue. It’s hard to argue with free stuff, which in turn could indirectly lead to the demise of Texas gun rights.
