Re: AG Opinion Request RQ-0341-KP Restrict Sale of Guns

Another example of (mostly, but not all, Democrat) politicians ignoring laws that don't support their agenda. Both El Paso city and county leaders omitted gun stores from their list of "Essential Business" entities, I suspect deliberately. I heard a report that Sheriff's deputies actively closed at ...

How big a cut will LaPierre take?
WSJ says “more than 20%.” But the last time I heard ”pay reductions across the board ’while maintaining current workloads,’” the company was outa business in three months.

Re: DPS unveils new design for LTC card

Imagine using your LTC at the airport TSA checkpoint. :coolgleamA: TSA already knows you have a concealed carry license. When I checked in for a flight two years ago, I was sent to the secondary inspection. TSA guy said "...you have a concealed carry license, do you have a firearm on you or in your...

Yeah, me, too. As I get older, it seems that each birthday approaches more rapidly than the last.

I'd be happier if it had the Real ID features that are on the Driver License. Imagine using your LTC at the airport TSA checkpoint. :coolgleamA:

Re: Public hearings on more Texas gun control laws

Examine ways to keep firearms out of the hands of individuals who would not pass a federal background check, while protecting the Second Amendment and Texans' right to bear arms. I'd be happier if the charge read: Protect Texans' right to bear arms and the Second Amendment , while examining ways to...

I'm not aware of a single issue that Joe Biden and I agree on.
well, maybe not 'issues', but I Joe & I might agree that:

(a) we don't want Bernie as president
(b) Joe shouldn't own an AR-15

:-)
(b) (1) ... or a double-barreled shotgun.

Re: El Paso to Alpine: 2020 Lonestar Cowboy Poetry Gathering.

You DO need a hunting license, and you can't shoot across a road or from a roadway. And they probably weren't feral hogs, but javelina, or collared peccary. "In Texas, javelina are classified as a game animal and may be legally harvested with a hunting license, during hunting season, in counties whi...

Re: TX: No place but Austin

But grackels are such ugly, annoying birds. Their sound is extremely irritating; they eat the eggs and kill the young of songbirds, including the honorable Texas mockingbird. Perhaps whoever destroyed the statue thought they were doing a public service.

Former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe has endorsed Joe Biden’s bid for the Democratic presidential nomination after the former president’s victory in the South Carolina primary.

Re: Global Warming/Global Cooling/Climate Change

That’s how we beat climate change?! Have something really bad happen that kills off a lotta people? Maybe like a world government violating all of our civil rights and intruding into every aspect of our lives? Naw - if I’m gonna die,I wanna die fighting tyranny, not climate change.
