Re: Sniper hits ISIS Commander from 1.5 miles

I think the reporter got a lot of facts wrong. Perhaps a .50 cal sniper rifle was used, but not a .50 cal machine gun. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M2_Browning?wprov=sfla1 M2 as a sniper rifle USMC M2 fitted with a Leupold CQBSS variable power scope. The M2 machine gun has also been used as a long...

Re: School Safety Certification Instructor Training Class

I also today received notification for the October 29-30th class. Applied in April 2017. Think there is a Jim Hogg RV park around close. See you there. No other propaganda as yet. Dave If you're talking about Jim Hogg Park on Lake Georgetown you've got a little problem there. It's ACoE. If that's n...

Re: Century C93 Sporter

I was thinking about it because I'd read quite a few reviews that concluded like the below but it seems a consensus of two says "run away, run away": https://www.outdoorhub.com/reviews/2015/06/10/century-arms-c93-rifle/ What do shooters get for their hard-earned dough? A more-than-combat-accurate, r...

Re: Progressives trying to recruit "Gilbert".

I got one to Victoria, which is my wife's name, from Kincaid so I just figured they'd got it from some mixed up list. Wouldn't be the first time such a thing happened. But my reply was to ask them "when did I give your campaign permission to text me. Your answer will affect the way I vote." Never he...

Re: Converse TX: Homeowner drives up on 2 bad guys

Just realized this happened in my old subdivision. Nice one too. Which could be why it was targeted. That street is a short one at the back of an offshoot so not many other houses to worry about.

This might be a very good victory for the MPA, which stops her from carrying on her person. If she doesn't have it, I would hope she does get her LTC now and carry on her perso...

I have a sense that karma will be biting this supposed "man" in the buttocks...and probably for a very long time... hopefully... :tiphat: Unfortunately karma has gone off the rails. His addresses was posted online, except it wasn't his, or at least not for a good number of years. It's his brother's...

Texas Admin Code TITLE 37 PART 1 CHP 6 Phamplet

So last year after the March update came out and I couldn't tell just what the changes were I did this pamphlet (which I posted here) with plans to check the site monthly and incorporate changes. That lasted a few months and so I missed the January changes. So, belatedly, here is the update. Red is ...

Thanks. I read this yesterday and realized it had been exactly 14 days since I'd bought my EZ. Grabbed the receipt, jumped in the truck and got the price adjusted.
