The investigators have access now to all his records and accounts. Unless he paid all cash and destroyed all receipts they'd only have to check his files. Heck, I made it real easy for them. My comment was in reference to how they, the government and investigators, know which guns he purchased and when they were purchased since there isn't supposed to be a registry or list maintained. The only way it to track them down one by one using the serial numbers and tracing them from the manufatcturer through the retailer. Seems that would be very time consuming and when they were purchased does not seem all that important to me.
I'm more interested in knowing why he did it and who else, if anyone, was involved.
