Re: Micro pistol finally wins me over

Even though I have a Sig P230 SI, I have sorta' downsized from an EDC SA 1911 compact to a S&W MP EZ for all of the above reasons except the motorcycle. The EZ is definitely easy in all regards. Well then, let's get you down to the Harley store and fix that part. :cheers2: Back before you we...

Re: Yellowstone tv show

We thoroughly enjoyed both seasons of LONGMIRE. Ummm.... there were 6 seasons of Longmire. Okay, we enjoyed all of 'em and would welcome a 7th season. GOLIATH just ended its second season.....dumbly. Good... so you are all caught up on your stories! We also enjoyed "Heck {snicker} on Wheels"

Re: Yellowstone tv show

Mrs. Oldgringo recorded it and we are looking forward to watching it once I get home from the hospital. We thoroughly enjoyed both seasons of LONGMIRE. One might call that western sheriff a 'soap'. Gotta' love that western mountain scenery.

Re: Spinal Meningitis

Thursday, we were to be in our modest RV in Loyd Park, Friday was to be a shopping trip to a nearby Costco, Saturday was to be the Texas Air Gun Show, Sunday a day of R&R and go home Monday. Alas, all of that, along with our July RV trip to Lake Tawakoni has been cancelled as I try to recover from b...

Re: Starbucks closing some stores

I would not notice if they closed all of 'em. I remember when you could get a good cup of coffee for 10¢ without political comment that you didn't care for.

For all the above reasons, I am glad to have lived in the greatest country in the world for the past 76 years. Good luck, y'all younguns'. Hope it continues to workout for you.

Re: Spinal Meningitis

OG, That is a pretty serious issue. You should consider transferring to a University hospital in a major city. I wish you a speedy recovery! Thanks, but I don't think I'd get better treatment anywhere than I'm receiving here at Christus Trinity Mother Francis in Jacksonville. We're all home folk he...

Re: What Would You Do To Help

I can't imagine the circumstance that would have me and/or mine in any Mall at that time of night. BTW, is it me or were the participants in that particular brouhaha of a distinct origin?

Should we be caught in such a situation, we be callin' 911 as we be boogien'.

You think that's a lot, check out some of the college football coach salaries. For instance, that is chump change compared to Nick Saban's package.

I'm kinda', well lots, into airguns. Many of today's CO2 handguns can't be told from their real PB namesakes; especially, when you're looking down the muzzle at one.

Re: 10 facts abut guns

It's not the guns, it is the peoples. No gun in the history of the world, to my knowledge, jumped up an killed anybody anywhere. It's all about the home life or lack thereof.
