Now George Soros will withdraw their election funding and they will be punished. The only hope is to try and get pro gun republicans back in control. It is a slim hope as even some republicans worry me.

"Our very own" did not propose banning bump stocks. They agreed to it as a sacrificial lamb. There is a difference. The way you continue to bring it up on every post makes it sound like you think the NRA just up and suggested banning bump stocks. That is not how it went down. Half the country was screaming for blood on a national level. I think it was allowed to keep them off our other firearm rights. I feel it was a huge mistake, but it happened.

The ban discussed in this thread is on a state level. Again, big difference. All are signs of bad things to come. My big fear is that this move on a state level will be replicated in other states.

I believe there's plenty of both open racists and toxic closest racists on both ends of the political spectrum, and plenty in between.

I believe very few people are actually racist in the classic definition of racism. I truly believe the vast majority of people do not consider skin color as a determining factor for ones value. Racism has not been a factor in this country for at least 10 years and probably longer. The left has worked hard to revive it but the vast majority of people accused of racism have not actually shown to be racist. The term is used to disparage and divide people into voting groups.

I agree. These idiots will go to the polls and pull democrat again as if it will be different this time.
