Re: S&W M&P 2.0 45ACP for sale

I was really thinking about picking up the full size model, but when I took a close look at the specs it appears the only dimensional difference between full size and the 1.0 compact (which I have) is .6 inch of barrel length. Re: Smith&Wesson M&P 2.0 3.6 Compact

This gun is an unheralded gem.

Very ergonomic design, great trigger, good round capacity, and a joy to carry at just a bit bigger than the Shield.

Re: S&W M&P 2.0 45ACP for sale

Are the 10 round magazines the same length as the 14 round ones? If not, and they fit your pistol, you may have the compact model. S&W site shows both full and compact sizes have 10+1 capacity 14 round mags have extended grip https://store.smith-wesson.com/m-p-45-mag-assy-14rd-black-39213 Thanks - ...

My surgeon told me today that I had lost 4 units of blood by the time he did the procedure.
You cut it close, old boy :grumble
Yes, really close.

I'm very glad God answered all our prayers on this one.

Have a speedy recovery!

Re: Wife Sick with Cancer.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your precious Amy. It is so hard to let one you loved so much go, even though the end of her suffering is also a blessing. My the Lord bring comfort and peace to you in your time of grief, and help you find his path for you going forward. Your work is not yet done....

Re: I think that's everyone now.

Congrats, Jusme! You are doing better than I. My younger brother is a retired USMC Lt Col. He got his own license in CO. Always the odd one, he carries a Glock something or other. ;-) In 2013, my wife and I took the CHL class. She now has a Walther PPS M2 Le. While she has had her own epiphany and ...

Re: DFW West/Southwest Quadrant Breakfast

I called this evening to pre-reserve a table for our meeting. The manager on duty said they aren't taking pre reservations for tomorrow because Easter weekend is extremely busy for them, but we can ask for a group table when the first member arrives. I'm planning to be there about 7:50, but if someo...

Why an Armed Populace is Essential to Freedom

Sometimes it's difficult to find the right words when discussing the right to bear arms with those who oppose it.

This article by Bill Federer has a terrific collection of what some of the brightest lights in history and philosophy have to say about it. Their words may come in handy.

The Dallas DA may have done this because it worked out so well in San Francisco, where your chances of being a victim of property crime are now 1 in 16.
