Re: Anyone have one of these Bushnell scopes? Custom Gold1.5-6X Ballistic

I checked a few of my distributors and could not find it. I can buy wholesale from Natchez but I don’t very often since their shipping is high compared to other distributors. After dealing with Bushnell on a warranty issue and being disappointed I stopped buying their products. I notice their produc...

Re: ISIS murders two American bicycle tourists in Tajikistan

You know that the security guard at the Nuke plant in Cape Town Africa was saying to himself “what idiots”. I read more and more stories about people quitting their jobs and doing stuff like this. If you are financially set for life then I see no issue. I think many people today rely on our welfare ...

I’d shoot it and send it to the taxidermist to make it a conversation piece. How many people have killed one in their living room?

Re: First time hog hunting advice

I’ll be shooting them with a 223. Federal 77 grain seirra match tip hollow point. I plan on carrying a big knife and a large pistol as well. You never know. Just tying to decide between the 1911 or the 357 mag match will work good 'IF' it penetrates. hogs are built stout and I've seen instances of ...

There are some guys here with aviation experience that could chime in. I know he mentioned himself that he was getting low on fuel.

Re: Best Carrier to ship a rifle to an FFL in FL?

I usually ship UPS and have not had any problems. FYI you have to notify them if it’s a firearm and they may or may not know their own policies on shipping firearms so I would print their policy and take it with you. Cost goes up the bigger and heavier the package is so use the smallest box possible...

My 2018 Subaru requires the ignition to be on in order to open or close the garage door.

Re: First time hog hunting advice

I’ve cleaned different ways using gambrels and gutless method (which I prefer since it minimizes contamination) but I’ll be trying this method the next time I hunt. I’ve seen guys spend hours dressing wild hogs, removing entrails etc. and I don’t think it’s worth the effort. You can get all the good...

Re: First time hog hunting advice

Probably too late now but if you set up a feeder it makes your chances of seeing them better. I’ve only night hunted once so I don’t have a lot of specific advice. I’d sure have a Thermacell with me. I usually treat my hunting pants and shirts with Sawyer permethrin insect repellent to keep the tick...

Re: Stolen gun and.... wait for it...

I’m curious how they got it without you knowing. I’ve read articles about thieves stealing remote alarm codes but have never seen a story where that happened. Glad you got it back.

I would just give folks like that space and know where the exits are! :tiphat:
Yep, I agree. I’ve run across many more people at the range I didn’t feel comfortable around than I ever have in public.

Well, after seeing the cost of upgrading to the electric motor I know I won’t be doing the upgrade. I’ll just have to stick with hand power.

Re: Trimming 300WM Cases

I haven’t shot my 300WM enough to need to trim the brass yet. Looking at your pics it reminds me that I need to buy the motor for my RCBS trimmer so I don’t wear my hand out cranking by hand.

Re: Finally got an AR in 10mm

I, too, was skeptical about those .40 and .45 stick mags. I was aware of their existence and have seen them in a few places before. This might help you out. https://www.glocktalk.com/threads/10mm-30rd-magazine-not-kriss.1647126/ Thanks, I stopped looking at glocktalk years ago when that forum start...
