I wonder why they bothered to put a front sight on it?

Here's a picture. I'm not certain what you mean by "details".

WTT/S Hi Standard CS for Kahr CW45 - TRADED

I'm in the Houston area. Will travel reasonable distance for ftf trade. Mine : Hi Standard "Crusader Compact" (Officer's size 1911) - an Armscor product, .45 ACP, works great, 350 rounds down the barrel, ambidextrous safety, 2 7-rd. factory mags, 2 7- rd. Chip McCormick mags. Yours : Kahr ...

Re: Caliber Wars

This is a good discussion. Probably the most instructive comments would be from those who have actually seen the elephant (those who have either been shot or those who have connected a projectile with a living person). Any takers?

Re: Bersa behaving strangely

I'm thinking the extractor may be worn or out of adjustment. That would be the first thing I would check ...... Same here. You might want to take an old toothbrush to the extractor lip. If that doesn't solve it, then either the extractor is loose (I'm not familiar with the physiology of Bersas) or ...

Re: High Standard. Yay or Nay

I own one.... the CS model. It's made by Armscor (the same factory that makes Rock Island) in the Philippines. It's a sturdy weapon and has given me no problems with feeding ball or hollowpoints. I've put about 700 rounds through it; only 50 of them were factory-made. The only feeding problem I've h...

Re: WTS Dies & Brass

Thanks for paying attention, guys. One of their murders recently died in prison. Each year at the other one's parole hearing, the entire retired USBP community has a letter writing campaign to the Parole Board.

Now, does anyone need my dies & brass?

Re: 'D Gun Range' on 59N, Houston?

It may have changed/morphed/been cleaned-up since the last time I stopped in. Stale cigarette smoke smacked my olfactory when I entered and beheld a dimly-lighted interior. I've never been in an adult book store but the store's ambiance fulfilled my fantasies of what one must be like. I couldn't bri...

WTS Dies & Brass

I'm not loading these calibers anymore and need to make space in my Loading Room. All dies are LEE products. Prefer ftf in Houston area. If it's out-of-area, the buyer pays for shipping. Best way to contact is by PM on this Board. Handgun : .44 Spl. Carbide die set (3 dies) - $22 .44 Sol. Taper Crim...

Re: Opinion of Glock 26

The best thing I can say about my 26 is that it has been utterly reliable. The fact that it feels as if I'm concealing a small brick is why I don't choose to carry it concealed. For concealed carry, I use something flatter: KahrP45.

Re: Who sells to LE Organizations?

On the Fed level, the agencies contract directly with the manufacturer. In turn, the manufacturer trains several members of each using unit as armorers. My own outfit was the Border Patrol and at one time they were issuing S&W, Ruger and Colt products (all revolvers). Each Sector had at least tw...

WTB Series 70 LW Commander

I have a friend who does not have a computer and who, as am I, is a retired LEO. He is looking to buy the subject handgun. It must be a Colt Series 70 Lightweight Commander. The harder part is that he wants it in .38 Super. If you have one for sale (or if you know of someone who does), please contac...

Re: Kahr

Buy it. Learn it. Carry it. The best thing the CW 45 has going for it is the conventional lands and grooves. The P45 I've been carrying for the past six years has ploygonal rifling .... consequently, it's not a good idea to shoot a steady diet of lead through it. Since I'm a reloader, lead would sav...
