Courthouse property

Took my wife to the Wise County Annex court today because she was subpoenaed in a case. I had no intention of entering the court so I was carrying as I always do. Somebody told me to check out the judge's courtroom decorum rules posted on the website http://www.co.wise.tx.us/ccl2/Decorum.htm While r...

Re: HB910 On Apr. 14 House Calendar for 2nd Reading

Re: How many of us will be renewing just after Sept 1?

Given how fast other applications have progressed, I'm starting to assume mine is stuck on something, likely the old paper fingerprints. Has anyone ever received notice that they needed new prints? If so, how did they communicate it? I renewed online 9/4 and mailed in the checklist and this is what...

Re: has anyone renewed yet, 9/1/13

I processed my renewal today as well and also got the: "YOUR REQUEST IS NOT COMPLETE until all required materials and documents on your checklist are received by TxDPS." I really want to believe that I can ignore this.. but in all my dealings with the TX DPS for my business and CHL.. I know that in...

I know how exactly you feel. Sometimes it helps to think it really loudly to yourself though!

Re: Fort Worth police shoot elderly man

What I learned from this story is that it would be a good idea for me now to invest in and wear some body armor since I am in Fort Worth quite a bit, and they have made it clear that it doesn't take much for the police there to "feel threatened"! In my opinion the police are no different than myself...

Re: New online CHL application & procedures

Thanks. I decided to just get my Utah license right away and wait till September to process my Texas renewal online. There is no shooting required for Utah so I will save some ammo and some money too and pick up a couple more states, not that I ever plan on leaving Texas. I will just carry on my Uta...

Re: New online CHL application & procedures

I am concerned... I understand the new law will take effect September 1, 2013. That is going to be exactly "15 days" before my license expires!!! Will I have time to successfully renew before my license expires? Will I have to worry about not being able to carry while waiting for my renewal to go in...

Yes!

What exactly do we need to do to get rid of this Strauss guy once and for all? I wouldn't be surprised if he voted for Obama too!
